This set will consist of a few possibly handy things!
Current objects going to be in set:
Telephone box
Port-a-loo (you know those single one's you find at out door events like fun runs the ones you hire)
under tree foliage (a square of leaves you can place under a tree to make it look like leaves have fallen off)
so yer i will take a few requests for basic items like that!
At the moment i have been working on the telephone box in sketch up its 1/4 of a square unless you want it bigger! Tell me what you think! as this is my first CS it will only be 1 colour because i don't know how to make multi colours :cry::cry:

Also i am working out a problem when i import because i made a test thing but when i import it it flipped it self :bored::(:mad:
more soon!
When you are adding the model in the importer, click on the "edit" button. In the bottom right hand corner is a button called "fix orientation." Click it. That object should no longer be upside down.
For adding multiple textures, there are plenty of tutorials for Sketchup that Surfingoz made. Search the stickys.
The porta-loo looks great, or is that the phone booth? May I recommend for the door and panels on the side to use a texture for those details.

It is a phone booth. It looks good for you're first object.

Hell, it could be both by using a solid texture for the porta loo and one with alpha glass for the phonebooth.

Thanks for the first thing i have figured it out and it works. I have also discovered something when i made a test oval and thingy for the phone box it had two things to set textures for two things so i prated using two quick colours made in paint. I will have a look at some more stickys and see what i can find. And yes its the phone booth!

Thank you i am looking forward to completing it and realising it =]

Thank you so much starrnger i could just save it into two separate files and change the colours on it and make it as two items at once. 2 RCT3 items for the price of 1 model =]
OK newest update!
I have tried out the telephone box to see if now it would stand upright and also to see what it will look like. it turned out ok for my first real upload. It is not the final colours, shape or position but its getting there.

Make the porta-pottie ;) a toilet, if you are up to the challenge. :D
Also, it looks more than 4h tall. Considering most peeps are under 1.5h, I'd suggest lowering it to about 2h, especially the doorway.

Give the guy a break folks...
And I'm not talking bones either. Seriously, though, unless the porta-loo is meant to cover the in game models, you probobly SHOULD scale it down a little.. say to about 80 or 90% of its present size.
And no, he cant make it into a working loo, because he's using sketchup. A loo needs a special kind of object called a spline that defines the walking path the guest takes from the edge of the path into the loo and back; at the moment the only program that has an exporter for spline data is Blender, again thanks to Bel's hard work.
