Hi, My new chromakey set allows you to put objects from RCT3 into real life
like putting a rollercoaster into your back yard or making a teacup ride in your living room (see below for link to video :noob:)

yes, this is for real
alongside the set you need a greenscreen video editing software such as adobe after effects , there are also free programs hat will do this for you

you can do this with sony vegas pro or windows movie editer me I think sony vegas work better.

depends on the movie maker, the more advanced version has a few more bells and whistles. Though considering who made it I would steer clear of the MS stuff.:confused:

adobe after effects is what you want, its great for chromakey and you can add more effects, like adding a jet to the back of the corkscrew shuttle car :)

It is possibible with quite a few movie makers. All you have to do is place a green or blue screen seamless strong colour behind the image you want and overlap the transition of the chroma transition. Usualy you have to pay for programs to do this but there are some free ones out there.

oh yeah i forgot, there is a free bluescreen transition for movie maker but im unsure about greenscreen, plus greenscreen works alot better for RCT3 as the default colours are red yellow and blue. the green works great !!!

What does this have to do with custom scenery? Why not put this in the general discussion?

the custom scenery allows you to put any background on it that you want, the CS is a set of green walls and floors that allow you when in an editing suite to edit out the green parts and put in place of the green anything yu want.Its a little hard to understand without seeing it.
think of it as two layers, one is the background of the carpet etc and the second is the teacup ride, imaging on the teacup ride layer, everything around the ride is green, it has been made transparant to allow you to see the background.
As for video software, after effects is a good choice but its not free (unless you know how)but i bought my copy from ebay.Other software such as Windows movie maker can give you plugins and transitions to work with blue and green screen software:)

For this to work you will need video editing software with chromakey abilities, i will not advise on this, use the power of google :)
i will offer help on adobe after effects keying but i dont know about other software so you will have to find out for yourself

I hope so too,and i agree it will make it more versatile but the only drawback is that you have to get the video perfectly aligned with the background for it to look good :)
