Im making these (http://www.rcdb.com/ig13.htm?picture=4) corkscrew supports but I don't know how to arc the cylender.I'm not even sure if I can but does anyone know how or if I can do this?and yes i've looked trough sketch up help.

You can actually make those with existing game pises... Actually, you can make them with another rollerocaster!

Use the extrude tool. Look up on youtube some modeling tutorials. They've help me tons. :)

Yep, watching some things about it on youtube should help for sure. Try looking on google also. Won't hurt.

I think the tool you're looking for is the Follow Me tool. There should be some stuff in the Help files for the program that'll tell you how to use it.

actually the follow me toool would not help you much in this case, most of the vertexes would have to be hand moved anyway, and you would probably be better off using lots of alpha textures, i made this a while back :

its almost impossible to get the shape right for the in game corckscrews this one is off a bit. (i havent got the in game pics still though) and it looks nothing liek the real ones becouse the corckscrew is a different shape in game.
