Maylene's Mini Project --Drop Tower Update--

Well, I just want to build a quick little park testing out some new things. So far it consists of 3 attractions. Reverend, Old West Adventure, and Detonator. I may make a Log Flume or just expand this in to a whole theme park, It depends on how I feel.

Attractions:

Reverend is an Intamin style coaster featuring a 45+mph LSM launch,
3-90 degree turns, and unique downward helix turnaround. The smooth,flowing,and exciting layout makes this ride great.

My first "Disney Style" dark ride. I make the blacklight effect using billboards with black light images on them.
I am really happy about the way this ride is turning out. I plan on making cso targets to go along with this ride.
I really want to hear what plokoon111 has to say about it.

A standard Huss swing themed to what else? EXPLOSIVES!

Good, good. Park is looking great. Looks like to be western themed. Reverend looks like Mustang in Lumiere Park. But keep this up.

I'm very glad you making a park of the original coaster! Which by the way is one of the best! The building is awesome! It has so many unique elements! The darkride in it is as cool as the building which holds it. At first I never thought those bluelight walls would work in RCT3, you have proved me wrong! And that I'm glad of, might try that sometime.

The only little thing is the line for the darkride, I think it'd look better if you covered it all up with wood, but that's just me.;)

I liked reverend when I first saw it...not sure if I commented on the thread though.
I like the dark ride on the outside, it seems to be a pretty family friendly ride so the facade suits it. I'm used to seeing more rugged western theming so this is a nice change and it looks good.
There isn't loads to see of detonator at the moment as it's themed for you already but it's a nice addition to the park and I hope to see your own slant on it.

Wow this looks pretty cool. It reminds me a lot of the parks that MikeyCA used to create. Very colorful, seemingly complex but yet subtle enough to know it's a simple design with carefully placed CS and terraforming.

This ought to be a fun little park! And it'll be interesting to see if it turns into a full size theme park. The nice thing about these mini parks, is the ability to detail the heck out of it without worrying too much about lag.

YYAAYY Reverend! I love all of it. Will it be up for download if/when it's done?
Two things:
1.) Where did you get the blacklight images from and what bilboards did you use?
2.) On the last picture, the diagonal path borders (brown!) don't exactly line up with the normal tile-alligned ones. It happens to me using Shyguy's Circus Center path borders, and you fix it by rotating the pieces around until they allign. They do, but it's just a weird thing you have to find.

Woh! First look at the first picture. Excellent use of scenery, perfect buildings with a nice small intense coaster, with great use of the rocks and arches that go across the ride. Then came the darkride. Beautiful facade, I would mistake that for a restaurant in real life, but great ride! The inside reminds me of the interactive 3D glow dark rides. Which you have the best 3D darkride I have seen in a long time, better than my attempts. In final words, an outstanding start to a inspiring theme park! Can't wait for more. (Man can't wait to get my PC fixed tomorrow.)

Very nice ride. This is an impressive wild west park and I really like the unique name. There was one place in the second curve where you went through a support, that is my ony critique. I will enjoy following this park.

Well not alot has been going on around this park. But I'm slowly moving forward. I added a new ride. An Intamin Drop tower named Gold Rush Falls. I think it adds some nice color to the skyline. Old West Adventure construction has come pretty much to a hault, it's tons of work and I don't really enjoy doing it. It should come along eventually. Reverend is just sitting pretty right now. I'm happy with it not doing much. Adding scenery and some support tweeks here and there. Well, I will be answering all your kind replies after the pics. Please enjoy.

Looks great, but what do you mean by blacklight images, i'm making a dark ride and this would really help.Thanks. Blacklight images are images lit up by black lights seen in dark rides. Disney uses them in almost all thier dark rides.

Well, I have to say I'm sorry I missed this. I did see Reverend by itself when you posted that as a track, but making it into a park made it that much better! It certainly looks better when it's in the proper theme with complimenting attractions. The drop tower looks very good, not out of place at all, too. And I like how it's an Intamin drop tower like the coaster is an Intamin launcher. Nice touch of parallelism, if you know what I mean. The dark ride is also nice, but I wish I could see more of the inside. That would be a nice POV as well as Reverend. Hope to see more real soon!

I love the new drop towers colors. Great choise which fits with the other colors in the rest of the park. Everything is oh-so-exciting about this park. ONly one thing, it may get to boring landscape wise. Maybe a river or a lake or some hills would do it. I don't know. I'm sure you'll make something great.Thumbs up for this one!:up:
