I been try import particle effect in to rct3 but it not work when place in game.

the particle effect will not start

can someone give step by step tutorial on how to import a particle effect please .

I try version 17 of importer and I'm still have problem get partlice to work what am do worng.

can someone mak A small little write tutorial on how set particle effect the rct3 importer.

also problem have when put object with particle effect in to rct3 it not starting mean particle effect.

all particles must have a start and end point, the particle stream travels from the start point, toward the end point (unless it has lots of gravity)

you need to place the start point were you want it to start and the end point a little way away for were you want it to go

if you use sketchup, particle effect points can be shown with text Fields (not 3d text) you have to click and drag away from were you want it to create a text arrow

i ave not tried much particles in the new importer but it is all the same i believe.

give the text Fields in sketchup the correct name so you do not have to edit their names (particlestartXX_name, particleendXX_name) when X equals a umber counting up from 1 and the name is the name of the particle(without.frw) the number on the start point has to match to that of the end point which it is with, and so does the name.

particlestart01_yourparticlenamehere
particleend01_sameparticlenamehere

then if you want more than one particle you repeat with number 2 instead of number 1


if the start point and end point are incredibly close, or touching, the particle will not work so i suggest putting it about 1m away from its start point to be sure.

you need to put the name of the particle. not just that it is a start and end, did you even read what i put lol?

now the line use put text on in setchup do I have group too becuase still have same problem the particle will not start.I can't figure out what I'm do wrong I know I can use particle effects in the game bacuase I use nuclearfish with no problems.

some reeson my owen particle are not working with model of strobe light.
