I have created a logo as a 3D object using sketchup. Being my first time, I didn't take into consideration the sizes in terms of how it will appear in the game and how I can make it so that the object fits 1 square, 2 squares etc. So, I know there are precise tutorials on how to do things but could someone tell me how to resize my object in relation to the game sizes and then how to import it?

Cheers and I'm sorry if this bugs people as there are already tutorials! :(

^But that doesn't make sense!

So far I can only see that I can apply a value like that to 3D text and not shapes! Is there anyway I can apply the height and width to the whole object? Or even a ratio to match the sizings in the game?

Also, how do I go about importing something this...I have the importer but its all a tad confusing to me. I understand I have to convert the object into AES format or something like that. There is apparently a tutorial of doing this directly through sketchup with script; created by Belgabor but I think his site is down! :S
And the improter is talking about creating a .OVL file....which I know is needed for all CS...but...ARGGHHHHH! I just wanted a logo! :(

This is all too much for my little brain! Haha!

I have...but I can't seem to find one that will help me from step 1 through to the end...they are scattered and its hard to keep track!
Even if you could point me in the right direction to the tutorials I need, then that would be ace!

sorry to say but if you can't understand the tutorial on how to make first model your not go to make it as cs creater. It just get harder as you work way up the ladder from animated texture, lighting, particle effect and so on

1h high is 1 meter high
2h high is 2 meters high
3h high is 3 meters high

1 rct3 square tile is 4 meters by 4 meters

Nevermind guys! Thanks for your help but I think I will give up!
As it is, I'm a perfectionist so even if I could make a basic logo; I would want it to be perfect and I just won't be able to do it.

I will stick with the cheapskates way of sticking an image onto a billboard!

Is there a billboard set of multiple sizes without the awful boarders and the crappy wooden texture on the back, like the ones that came with the game?

Cheers again all!
