Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death

I've had no problem with my box since I got it for my birthday in January (a FEW freezes here and there) and now I have the Red Ring of Death, but it's just one corner (thank God) and not 3, but I have no idea whats wrong, I just came home from school yesterday, and poop "System error bla bla bla E 73" with one flashing red light in the bottom right corner. My friend said he got that before and restarted his console, so did I but I still get the same error.

Any idea how to fix it (it's been 2 days now) without sending it to MS, or will I haveto send it in for repair?


OT: I was also close to getting my account stollen (I would be PISSED if I lost my friends list), but a simple PW recovery/reset got my account back (WOOT).




Now I'm just angry I can't play CoD4 with my friend......:cry:

try re-plugging all the cables

or unplugging the hard drive and mem card and restart it without, the hd might be your prob

Well, to me it doesn't sound like you want this thing fixed to fast.

Why didn't you just call xbox tech support? I know, I hate them too. But it would leave out a lot of your speculation as to what could have happened.
