[HLP] sketchup Color problems

hi,
i am having trouble:cry: in sketchup with making the different groups for colors, i can only make 2, and even then in the importer it says there are 2 groups, empty group, and ungrouped. i just would like to know how to use more colors.

The way I do it is to lock the groups one by one, then just before you export it to an ase you, you select all the groups.

also if your using sketch up textures that illegal.

i use the textures just as markers for groups, and i will try what you said elljhitch

Empty Group means the group is not named. Ungrouped means it is not part of a group. And make sure everything you want to export is selected.


and @gameliker: sketchup textures arent illegal, you just can't use them because they are not bitmaps or jpegs
