Wow, How did you get so far away from the CS threads? This is the wrong thread.

Welcome to Atari!
First, please learn the forums and where things belong.
I applaud you for offering to make CS, but you will need to get known, and offer examples if you expect to get any requests. And why can't something be made?
Finally, please do NOT post email addy's in posts, it is seriously frowned on.

I would recommend checking out the CS request sticky. It seems to have plenty of ideas, and it stays centralized.

I usually don't request CS, but this whole park relies on a set being built, and you seem keen on building for others, unlike most CS makers.

I plan to build something like this and instead of skyscrapers, put a park inside it. I need something like the tunnels in Klinn's Electroshock set, but with versions that can be formed into a pyramid.

Three posts, two of which were to tell us that he has 'mastered' custom scenery and not one actual piece of CS released nor screenshot shown at this site...

I merged both request threads. Please make only one thread per topic, especially ones that aren't a great idea to begin with.

I haven't seen you releasing a CS set? Or anything but good information and constructive criticism in fact.
And just warn him about his mistakes, you'll drive off the new people. ;)
And it is possible to master something before releasing it, it's just a clever idea.
I really like Coaster Guru's request, btw. Try that :D

Thanks for pointing that out -GS-, I was unaware of the 'you must have released something before you can comment' rule. Missed that one...:weird: LOL!
Actually my post is aimed more at wondering if people should post a bunch of requests before knowing what the person's abilities are. He may very well be quite good, but it would help if he showed some samples if he is taking requests. I agree it's a clever idea to learn how to do something first, unfortunately just looking at many of the threads in this section, that's something few bother to do. And there's certainly nothing wrong with learning how to do something without having to post about it, I seldom show anything at all myself.
But then again, I'm not asking for requests either. ;)
Then please just give a post that's not just negative sarcasm... :)
And I didn't say you can't post if you don't release CS. I said you don't have to post to know how to make CS. It's not commutative. ;)

I just want the tunnels built, and even though I don't know how to make CS, at least a tunnel I think should be an easy project, and I want it done. He seems like he really wants to take requests, and not a lot of CS makers do that, they would rather work on their own projects, which make sense. I wouldn't want to build someone else's park.

Understandable Coaster Guru, but maybe you could add some more information as to what you are looking for. I understand you want something to form a pyramid, but I don't get the connection with Klinn's tunnels, those were in two pieces, weren't they? A frame and then a clear insert. How big should the pieces be? What sort of angle on the sides - to match the photo? Maybe people just see the photo and get scared off, it does look very complex, but if it's just the framework for the pyramid, that's probably just two pieces - a horizontal and an angle.

i like the idea of the pyramid thing, and i always liked klinns tunnel, im guessing glass pieces would go in the outer bits.. i do not understand about how the tunnels go into it though :p looks abit like geomag :p

Yes, pretty much, just an horizontal and an angle, but big enough to put a tram or something inside. Sorry for the lack of detail, but I'm happy with anything, even without a frame, if it's a futuristic park, which it could be.

Ah, progress!
The tunnels look good, very good, but I didn't realize some people may not realize the scale of this pyramid. The tunnels themselves will form the frame of each pyramid, and the pyramids won't have glass. The glass that you see is from one of the skyscrapers. It's a skeletal pyramid, open to the elements.
BTW, let's take this to PM.

Has anybody made a Devils Tower - the mountain from Close Encounters of the Third Kind film. I just thought it would look great in a park. :)

(If you are talking to me)Then yes know there are just several things
1.I didn't know which requests had been done
2.It's a bit crowded
3.When I started this thread there was no recent requests

I'm going to build a space park and it would be great to have Devils Tower in it.:alien:
