I create this set, still under construction, for rct3.
It's for a autumn scenery style.

I hope you like it!

Good job on your first set - especially them being alphas.

I'd like to see a better view of what looks like some sort of swag (maybe it's vegetables?) in the rear towards the right, if you can.

What other items do you plan to add to the set?

Is a garland with pumpkin and autumn leaf...

What other items do you plan to add to the set?

Lights, and other set to decorate, also other path, maybe with autumn leaves.

Next set's for halloween time, and another for xmas...maybe... ;)

Here a preview for halloween time:

Very good job so far! I like the garland, that's a good idea and will be very handy,

Please don't take this the wrong way, but Vodhin has an excellent tutorial on making alphas, there is a section on it that has some tips on helping to make the edges of the image on the alpha smoother and without the extra little 'bits' that can sometimes form. I'll try to add a link to it here. That's the only negative comment I could even come up with, is that some of the edges look a little ragged, that tutorial might help, ok?

Only alpha textures, I'm not good at make 3d stuff now... ;) I'm doing practice with 3d max... so, for me, spooky tree are very nice, used with spooky theme on rct3...try to believe... :D

Wow, for a first time CS creator it looks great. I have only one thing that I would throw as a suggestion and not sure if what you shown was only the beginning stages or not. The path covers you created with the fallen leaves with the white background looks a bit unusual, and I personally would make the leaves smaller, this might also help with it matching up when you tile them on the paths. This of course is entirely up to you, and just a personal preference.

Keep up the great work, and look forward to seeing this progress.

I think you should learn to do 3D objects before releasing a set.

Not to be rude but this is RollerCoaster Tycoon 3(D)

I'm sure STU loves this set because there's low poly count :D
But learn 3D before you release stuff please

actually, there is a line between low polys and visual appearance, i would rather not look at a selection of cubes and planes

Sorry, I guess I missed the election held on what is allowed to be released as custom scenery, or the decision that it all has to be 3D... :weird:

I'd point out that many other's have also made 2D pieces using alphas - for instance Vodhin. What Lalla has made isn't the usual case of poly overload that many people come up with for CS, so the only real objection anyone can have with them is the appearance. That's a matter of personal taste.

If you don't personally like them, then just plain don't download them.

Ty for that you have wrote... ;)

I love make stuff for rct3, I know that's a 3d game, I've also noticed that some objects are simple alphas on 3d planes (trees). I'm learning how to create 3d stuff with su and, IF ALLOWED, I'll continue to create and share for who want use them, objects how have done till now. I'm not pretending that all of you using my objects, but I'm very happy to share them with you. Thank you for hearing and understanding me.

"All" of your criticism??

Dude, you haven't even been here all that long, and I barely recognize your name. So don't flatter yourself that I make a point of 'contradicting' just you. I 'contradict' anything if I think it's wrong. Get used to it. :weird:

I never said that you said it looks bad, I took objection to you telling Lalla that he had to learn how to make something 3D. He doesn't.

Opinions are fine, however your's really wasn't all that constructive, now was it? It certainly was not the same as pointing out that an object has too many faces, or is too large, or things that can cause problems in the game.

Lalla's work doesn't.

There are certainly many other people who make CS that perhaps not everyone might wish to use. As long as that CS isn't harmful, you can certainly make suggestions, offer opinions, but in the end who's to tell them they can't do something they enjoy and they want to share it? Again...if you don't care for it, don't download it.

I apologize for your thread getting highjacked Lalla.

Please know that I'm not against you or picking on you, I'm really not. The very next thing you write I might very well be a vocal defender of! There's many people here I've disagreed with on one topic and then back them on another, I try to post just in response to the post and not the person. I'm far from perfect on that account, but I do try!

Glad you told me you're 741852963951753, I honestly didn't know that...I'm sure you mentioned it but it flew right over my head. Old age does that. lol!;)

It is noticeable on the edges where it transitions from un-transparent to transparent. The green you see is one face showing through another face, therefore you see grass.
