How many coasters have you been on?

Are you sure it's not Alice in Wonderland? It could be mistaken for a coaster I guess.

^ No, it was definitely a coaster. It was similar style to the Gadget Coaster, with caterpillar cars. It had a section where a line of frogs spit water over the track.

It's not themed after Inspector Gadget, but rather Chip n' Dale. Also, it's always been The Go Coaster, so that's incorrect that it had another theme.

No!:haha: Gadget from Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers! She was a handy rat that built alot of things to help the 'group' fight crime. So the story is that she built the coaster out of all the things she could find.

My coaster count could be somewhat higher, since I've been to 17 parks, 13 of which have multiple coasters, but I've missed a lot of credits (most notably Montu and Kumba:sour:) by not whoring kiddy rides, by not riding some painful coasters and by once being afraid of coasters altogether!

Did you mean Woodstock's Express? Or did you mean the mine train-style coaster, which is the Cedar Creek Mine Ride?

In all seriousness, I really have no idea how many coasters I've been on. I've been riding them since the 1980's, but I've only been counting since 2004. I have been on coasters that are now defunct that will never be added to my list because I rode them pre-2004. ...A few examples being Hercules, Viper (SFGAdv.), and 1/2 of Lightning Loops.

With that said, my total since 2004 is just over 200. Basically it's SnooSnoo list minus The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, and Maverick, plus a bunch of parks in the Western US. I haven't really hit any of the parks in the Midwest yet.

That is one of those 'revised' coasters. I noticed it was low when I copied. When I first rode it.. it was horrible.

There are different philosophies out there, some go by name (if a coaster has a single name, it is a single credit), some go by track design (if the tracks are different, two different credits.. if parallel, then not), or mine.

Of course, there are flaws in each of them. I just make things easy.

The two naked Guinness World Record events were officially organised by the two parks, who were using the event to celebrate other things (Thorpe's 25 year anniversary, and Alton celebrating both 50 years of Guinness World Records, and also just to celebrate beating Thorpe Park's record!).

The naked riding at Oakwood was part of a European Coaster Club event, where I not only rode their wooden coaster naked with some others, but rode naked on their shot and drop ride too.

Do a google search for "naked coaster riding nemesis 2004" and see what comes up!

CE is actually quite intense at the beginning and stuff. You are in this dark tunnel up the lift and the twisitng first drop is it a light streaked tunnel and then you shoot out and you are like 50 feet above the mall. It's quite crazy.

I may have just lost a little bit of my coaster dignity... :D

It can be tricky. Personally, I take a look at the degree to which the two tracks are intended to work together to form one whole ride. With such a view, the decision is almost an art. For example, I definitely consider Gemini as one coaster. The two tracks are nearly identical, and the ride was built with the intention of racing, making the dual tracks an integral part of the one ride. On the other hand, for Dueling Dragons, the two tracks are distinctly different. While there is an integration between the two tracks, to me, it seemed less of a core to the ride experience. So, I counted each track of Dueling Dragons separately.

I also find it helpful if the park specifically provides a name for each track, but I don't find it to be a definite decision-maker. For example, although Lightning Racer has names for each track, I still counted it as just one coaster. (That one was a tough call -- the tracks are quite different, but I found their integration to be a very key element to the overall ride experience.)
