Worst stapling:
Whats that?
Harpo
10-08-2008, 06:45 PM
Whats that?
When the ride attendant takes a red Swingline stapler and puts a bunch of staples in your arms, legs, face, etc.
OK, that was a terrible attempt at humor. Sorry about that.
Stapling is generally when the ride attendant slams down the harness to the extent that the pressure from the harness is uncomfortable. It is also possible to "self-staple," and it is possible that a harness will come down an extra notch while the ride is in motion to create a stapling effect, but most complaints come from when the ride attendant does the stapling.
Does that help?
Doffy

10-08-2008, 07:53 PM
Haha Harpo, were you looking at my avatar when you refered to the "red stapler"?
And I just really dont like "forced stapling". I'll try to "staple myself" if I know the ride is going to be rough to avoid being rattled around too much. (feels like sitting in a wooden crate during in earthquake)
I've decided now that Flight Deck has the best asthetics.

Actually, I didn't notice the stapler in your avatar. (I don't tend to pay much attention to avatars. Once in a while, one will catch my eye, but it's rare.) I was actually thinking about the movie Office Space, and the one character's obsession with his red Swingline stapler.

Jesus christ.. talk about overreacting..
I'm not overreacting at all. I guess it's all in how you read it.
That is about the third time you've compared your 'count' against mine in some fashion... and I generally ignore it. This time I didn't.
SnooSnoo
10-09-2008, 07:00 PM
Comparing my count? How? Telling you that you need to ride more coasters? I didn't know that was me trying to be superior. I dunno.. I might go out on a limb to say that it was just me telling you to go ride some more coasters? I could have a count of 10 or 400 and it would mean the same thing from me.
But, how could I forget.. smilies aren't read anymore. No one on this forum knows how to read a joke. I'm clearly better then anyone.. ever.. and I rule the world.
Bow to me my servants.

I think your thinking of mindbender, Mind Eraser is a Vekoma. I have never been on one but I have heard that they hurt! And they are almost all clones. The only one worth riding is Great Nor'easter at morneys Pier. They got nice looking new trains in august.
