well its been announced that the superman ride of steel will get x2 like enchantments for its more than a mile of track. being much smaller than most six flags parks i think rides like this that are just as great as any at magic mt and great adventure get left out of the loop. heres the actual notes from six flags themselves. note: ive been going to six flags new england sence it was riverside park. w00t.

On the site it says "three minutes and twenty two seconds of extreme thrills." Is that including the lift hill?

Can you just once not be a total ass about things Doffy?

Wow, this was my favorite coaseter of all time and now it's getting a kick ass boost. I can't wait for 09 (I went almost every year for the past 8 years).

What is there not to understand, it's gonna have a refurbishment much like 'X2' had and what 'Medusa' will.

thanks for the move and i cant say duffy. I think it will be awsome however theres the video on the site of station to same spot ride. My favorite part of the ride is how unlike most 200+ feet coasters it has a large section of turns small drops and a few helixes near the end of the ride.

If it's the duration of the ride, then yes it's part of the lift hill.

they still need to build another coaster though theres only 7 not including the kiddy coaster there. and the cyclone should be torn down IMO i mean it is a huge wooden coaster but it has almost no drops its just helix after boring bone crushing helix.

Not to mention it is very very old and loud. There used to be a good ride close to it called the black Widow. I bet you remember that one eh eh?:D Peronaly I agree rip down cyclone and put in something better. :)

Cyclone was actually only built in I believe the 80's. It was designed to be a coaster like in the 50's, rough. Although I've been supporting the tear down Cyclone movement for years now.

Black Widow was pretty cool, I only rode it maybe twice, but I liked it.

As for Superman, oh my god. The 'Company' that is doing this isn't even a real company. Clawshun industries. According to their website, they are the 23rd largest corporation in North America. It gets zero results in google. What kind of company doesn't have a stock for that matter? And what kind of company brochure has their only project, on the brochure? You mean to tell me that the 23rd largest corporation in all of North America decides to put a roller coaster on the cover of their brochure? I don't think so. Like I say, I fear the worst for that ride. I hate how they are changing the name of it. That's a dumb idea.

I'm sure that paragraph will come back to haunt me and I'll like the ride better than before but I oppose the idea currently.

I don't know, maybe a made-up one.;)

You do realize that the company is based in Metropolis, right?

Oh, and you can get free stock at their website.:p

Probably... most parks chalk up every second that the train is moving to 'ride time'. I know many parks count ride time from the second your train starts moving out of the station to the point it comes to a complete stop back in the station (not including stacked-train operations, of course).

So, yeah.. that more than likely includes the lift, and the brake run, and the pull back into the station.

Yes, it definitely includes the lift hill and the return into the station.
