Custom Scenery Problems

Ok well I just downloaded aces counter tops and I clicked it and it froze my game. I have vista.

Also options.txt, where is that located?


Help please.

Sounds like you installed the CS improperly. I don't know about Vista, but I know there's issues with other things, so that might be the issue. But like I said, 98% of the time it's because it wasn't installed correctly. Remove the set from your themed folder, re-download the set, read the readme if there is one, and reinstall.

Do a search for options.txt. That's what I did, you'll find everything you need there.

Ok thanks, there is no read me for the download.

Ill search for now on.

Where do I search the options.txt on here? or in my rct3 folder?

I have a vista I can help. I know that if somthing has too many polys it can crash your game once you click on it in the menu. I would say that you have installed it incorrectly if it does crash your game. Best try putting it back in carefully.

Ok well idk if im doing it right but what I do is:

Ok I got the aces counter top thing to work perfectly in game :)

Ok well I just downloaded Gadgets space mt it shows up in game but freezes, it had a read me and I followed it EXCEPT I wasnt sure on one part.

It said UNZIP the folder, is that the same thing as extract, that part im confused on.

Help?
