Save Game files

Could anyone tell me what the file extension is for the save game files? i've been trying to track it down but i haven't been having any luck.

Does anyone know where the DAO Save Files are stored in Steam? I upgraded to Windows 7 and Im trying to transfer my save files from the Vista files I backed up.
