Hey everyone! I'm finally back with that trip report that I promised... even though it is 2 days later than I wanted to post it. :bulb:

Anyways, Manta is coming along great! Most of the track and supports (minus the final swoop and splashdown) are up, and I believe that the brake run is just about finished. I saw a few supports and track off of the main road in front of SeaWorld, and I'll try to get some pictures of that up soon.

Yesterday, I got to witness part of the "A-frame" brake run supports going up. I also saw Brian Morrow (one of the people in charge of the Manta project) exiting one of the construction gates. I wanted to ask a few questions, but I forgot his name.

Anyways, without further ado...

PS: I apologize for the crappy quality of the video, but YouTube always seems to make a high-quality video look like crap.

Very well done!

The ride looks like it's going up fast.

Thanks for sharing!

^ Thanks! Looking at the current progress, I can expect that the track will be completed around December 10-20. :)

Here's the track photos that I got. I know that they're kind of blurry and pointless in all reality, but I posted them anyways just to show how much track was left...

Nicely done Westcot. The video quality wasn't bad at all.

I'm hoping to head over to Seaworld sometime in late December. I'm sure the track will be completed by then.:)

^ Thanks! I guess the "full quality" option helps. ;)

Hopefully they'll have the cars on-site when you're there in December.
