Problem installing Backyard Baseball 2005

We are trying to re install Backyard Baseball 2005 on to XP. We have run this game here before. At a certain point in the install it sends a pop up that reads: Default Component Default File Group E:\data2.cab Data Error ( cyclic reduncy check) . The disc is clean, unscratched, our system meets all criteria, and we run other Backyard games. Can anyone help? thanks!

That error means that the disc drive can't read the disc. If there is nothing wrong with the disc, there may be a problem with the drive. Have you tried it on another drive?

do you mean install another driver into the system? or use a different driver that may be installed already?

Not a driver, but a CD/DVD drive.
