Trying to export from Blender

I'm trying to export a model from Blender that I made as a .modxml file, but every time I go to file>export and click on Model XML (.modxml) I get an error saying "Python script error: check console". I have it saved as a .blend file. How can I fix this problem?

I guess you should check the console (that's the other window Blender opens when you start it) and see what the error is?
