Yeah, it's me again. =/

Well, after fixing up the eariler problem, and tweaking a test model to be the right size, the lamppost test model no longer goes to where its set (Inner Path). When I do try to place it, it only can be placed on the center of the path.

I have the directions and cords setup right (I think). This happened after I resized it from 10 peeps high to 1 peep high.

I'm using V18B2 of the importer.

If you modeled it on the center, outer edge of the tile in sketchup, then use full tile, and it will be exactly how you made it in sketchup.

Did you use the right orientation help in SU (Path Inner)? Did you position it correctly on it?
Maybe a screenshot in SU can help us diagnose the problem (with the correct orientation help grid).

I would, but I don't use SU - I use Blender. If you want, I could post a screen from Blender...

Ah, ok =)
Well done, young Jedi.

If you choose Path Inner, RCT3 skews the position of the model. In fact it does it so mostly conveniently. If you place your model on the origin, it will appear on the inner edge of the path.
More information is on my facts & figures page (link in signature).

Will try that out right now, and I'll report back with results in a few hours.

EDIT: Okay here the current news....

First off, I moved my lamppost in Blender to the right tile area, and I got it pretty close (but thats nott he problem.) I then saved and exported, and closed Blender.

I then opened up the Importer, created new OVL's, and in the model box, I got a surprise...: (did the lampost have a kid lol?) (Talking about the ASE Temp thing.. Never got that before...): http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?image=image3ru7.png

Here's the screen from the game (note the "baby"): http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?image=image5xt8.png

Ditch the ASE exporter and use my modxml exporter. The ASE exporter has several issues, this being one of them.

Hmm... I never heard of your modxml exporter lol - I'll go look for it, then try it out.

UPDATE: Soooooooooo close!: Moving the model in blender won't make it come any closer to the edge though, and I gotta fix the orientation of the light orbs: (any suggestions?)
