silverfall options

Having a problem with changing the video options. Cannot change them on my Vista computer (xp, not a problem). I confirm the change over and over again, but they will not change from what I assume is the default setting with pretty much everything on high. If I set the options to low, its saves it as low, but when i play the game, everthing is on high, set to medium, still on high. If I manually go in and uncheck what I do not want it saves it, but when playing the game, everything is on high. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, ran as adminitrator, (game and options conf). Any suggestions?

Did you

a. install as admin +
b. change the config as admin +
c. try to play as admin?

It seems that VISTA does not accept your changes, so you should examine the 3 files

GfxOptions.xml
GfxOptions_ScreenResolution.xml
UserConfig.ini

in

..\Silverfall\Data\Config\.. (that's the path in XP, VISTA might be different).

Whenever you make changes to the game config via Silverfall's options menu the 3 files above should change, too. Check whether that is the case (control file properties ("time") and/or open them with an editor). An easy test would be to change the game's resolution ...
