Keep in mind NetOn and NetOn2 don't have all of the scenery packs. If they did, it would've taken a very very very very long time...

And the file would be the size of a small moon.

Probably not. They have a lot, but not all. So, define nearly.

The amount of custom scenery is incredible. it would take forever just to make a complete file
See how much custom scenery there is
http://www.rct-theme-world.de/rct-liste/complete-list.htm
(click custom scenery under the banner)
there is easily over 500 sets on that list

That's not a moon, it's a space station...
hehehe... seriously, not everyone wants all the scenery, and some CS Makers (like myself) prefer to have sets released individually- especially since a lot of us (me especially) never really finish the sets, and may make updates from time to time. to constantly keep a single download up-to-date would be a full time job...

Im just trying to get enough custom scenery to place these buidlings in:
http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=667519
But i can never find the stuff i need even though its listed on like the 10th post. I still get the no svd for sid error when placing one in, is that because i dont have the custom scenery required?
And i have enough space for probablly all the custom scenery available (1.5 terabytes) so my computer isn't running slowly.

If you've downloaded NetOn, NetOn 2 AND various other CS, CTRs and CFRs your computer must be a space station...

I think most of the scenery in that pic is from shyguy's Main Street series of CS sets. The street lights are Vodhin's Light Kit 2008. Not sure about the Roman/Greek columns. This was proboably a good candidate for the "I seach an object..." thread.

Having all of those sets in the game would be a pain anyways. I have like 25 sets and it gets annoying going through all of them.

You should also bear in mind that the more scenery that you have installed, the longer it will take to start the game because the game engine has to scan every one of those thousands of files that you've just installed in order to know what scenery is installed.
Also, all of that information is stored in memory. The more scenery that you have installed, the less memory you have available for creating parks, therefore you can't build parks quite as big.
Displaying the menus also takes fractionally longer because there are more sets to process each time the menu is shown.
In short, installing everything isn't necessarily the best idea, better to chose the sets that you need and just install those.

Agreed, you can walk to the moon and back in the time your PC has loaded all the sets that you have.
