Custom Scenery Import Problem

Hey guys, i'm new here so first i would LOVE to say Hi and i'm very happy to be a part of this community.. Now the not so welcoming news lol, im starting the whole Custom Scenery thing and I am having some problems and cant seem to find anything to help me.
Basicly when I make an item in sketchup, use the importer as stated to do and follow all the instructions when I click install on the importer, I get a message saying it cant save to the correct directory and i must pick one, so i go to
Program files ----> Roller coaster tycoon 3 -----> Style -----> Theme
and click save, when I load up the game I get an error saying ":Svn no :Sid" or something.. and i've checked out tutorials but cant find anything to help me :( Also when i try to find the custom scenery i cant find it.. but when i start up the game its in the scenery menu.. until i click it and the game crashes.

This means you have not installed the custom scenery correctly.

Also look for a read me when you unpack the CS files. Not all of them will have one but some do and you need to read them carefully.

Its not a file ive downloaded though, its a scenery piece ive created in sketchup and am trying to import.
These threads dont help as i have read through all of them :(

Then you might want to ask a MOD ( Biogal, TheSkipper to name 2 ), to move your request to the Custom Scenery forum where more people will look at it and you may get the help you need there.

Brettie - what is your computer's OS - Vista? And which version of the Importer are you using?
