In the importer what do i select to make a glass texture. My texture is gray and 50% transparent. What do i select in the importer so its a glass texture? Also how do i group a one textured side of a object?

AS far as I know, you can't make a plane have a different texture on each side.

To make the texture glossy, Use something like SIGlass or SIAlphaReflection.

But do i have to make the texture itself semi transparent in sketchup or can it be a solid texture and in the importer select SIGlass and it will make it glossy?

Actually, the best way for the same thing is to have both textures combined in 1 image, say the texture for the front in the top left, and the texture for the back in the bottom left.

I never use the SIGlass in the importer, I just use transparency within the texture. I make layer's in paint/photo shop. Normally 45% will do you can add different layer's to make the glass look grungy or dirty as well, you just have to play around. Only way I have found to make a 2D plane have 2 texture's is to actually have 2 2D planes sandwich very close together, and use SIAlphalow to reduce the edge distortion.
