Construction has started again on Shadow Falls within the past few weeks. We have decided to release a short sneak peek of what is to come. You may have already seen a picture of it somehwere on the internet, but I have another two pictures to show, and the redevelopment of the park under the Puzzled Studios title is underway.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/Phase2Begins.jpg
^The no entry signs have been up for a few days now, and consturction members have been going in and out. I have been watching the demolition of the different stuructires in the area. We were able to save most of the materials form the demolition though, and will be reusing them in the reconstruction of Prospector Village umm.....

Hmm... Shadow Falls, I can't remember that park... I wonder if I have ever seen it or not.
Actually there's not much to see...
But if I were you I would have chose an other no-entry sign. A billboard, or black with yellow stripes, or something like that.

Can't wait to see the rest of the park.

Not too fond of those no-entry signs. I believe i saw some invisible ones somewhere?

I feel like doing some more teasing, so without further ado...

^What happened to the desert,

Now that I notice, your buildings look very bland. More windows, trim, etc. are needed.

Teaser #3

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/ConstructionImage1.jpg
^Construction materials have been constantly coming in and out for the past few days. All that is in the bins is wood, wood, and (you guessed it) more wood.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/ConstructionImage2.jpg
^I wonder where all that wood is going to, and what it will be used for?

More windows should be added to the building, also add some stairs for the steep slope, someone could fall right off those ramps right into a wall.

Thanks to everyone who has posted in this thread so far. Sorry for the teasers so far, and I only have a few more left for you guys before I really have a large update. (There just really isn't tons to take pictured of right now)

I took these pictures with a new waterproof camera. With how many cameras I have already ruined, I thought it would be a good investment. ;)

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/ByeByeCoveStation.jpg
^The cove station is being removed from the park as well. Looks like the entire railroad system is being removed form the park at the current moment.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/Camera.jpg
^I think I broke the camera. This is supposed to be a picture of Rock Falls 2.0, but it came out all discolored and hard to see anything in,

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/Sincethen.jpg
^and now, it does it every time I take a picture. That was a useless waste of 50$.

Brilliant teasers, I'll definitely be following this! :D

Sorry that it's been over a month, but I have been doing other things lately, and haven't had tons of time to even turn on RCT3. If you opened this post, and was wondering why the logo at the top of the thread says Puzzled Design Enterprises instead of Puzzled Studios, it is because a name change took place, therefore causing the banners on all the pages to change. It might seem like just a few more teasers, but there are actually things that should be easier to make out in these pictures.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/ComingSoonWall.jpg
^This wall went up a few days ago. The Alpine Village area is being demolished parts at a time, and the area will be completely rebuilt. The new name, for those who can't see it in the picture will be Alpine Valley.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/AlpineStationComingDown.jpg
^Scaffolding was put around the buildings to make them easier to take down. We tried to save as much of the materials as possible, to cut down on expenses, and lead the park in a more environmentally friendly direction.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/AlpineStationComingDown.jpg
^Here is another picture of the scaffolding. This whole side of the Alpine Village, minus the Gift Shop has already been taken down, and construction had already begun on the new area.

And now for some concept art for Shadow Falls v

Looking pretty cool! Glad to see this hasn't died! :)

^It still has life in it, I just have been busy lately, and have been working on it a lot. I hope that everyone enjoys the two part update in which you aren't going to be teased. (Well, if I decide to change my mind anyways. Teasing is so much fun.) I hope the amount of pictures this time will make up for the lack of pictures up to now.

And now on to part one of the awesomest two part update that I have ever come up with.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/AlpineCoffeeInterior.jpg
^Alpine Coffee has made a return in to the second phase of Shadow Falls. The outside I'm not really that happy with right now, so that will probably not show up until the next update, except for maybe a little glimpse of it in one of the pictures.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/EnteranceToRattlesnakeDesert.jpg
^This is the tunnel through the mountain over to Rattlesnake Desert. You will see the other side in the second part, and well, that is probably one of my favorite looking things in the park right now.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/ConceptArtRevealed.jpg
^Hey look. It's the concept art from a little ways back. And... oh shoot, I caught most of the Alpine Coffee building in the picture. Just tell me what you think about it now. (It's the wooden building behind the tea cups.)

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/InformationCenter.jpg
^And to finish us off is a picutre of the information building which is the brown bui.... Wait a minute, what could that be?

veryConfused

Well here's the second part. Thanks for posting everyone. I really appreciate it.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/TeasingYouIsTooFun.jpg
^Lets See. When I left off a week ago I started to tease you about something else. It's a picture in the information center. Could this be a ride located somewhere in the park. Well, I'm not telling you because nobody posted. If you post, I might just show you a nice big picture of it instead of a little teaser that will annoy you to oblivion. Now why was that picture up anyways. I could have sworn that I told that park inspector that I would have put it back up on my own. Hmmmmm, I guess that he just doesn't listen either.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/OldBuilding.jpg
^This is the old mine shaft building you enter Rattlesnake Desert from. Don't worry, it's not going to collapse over you trapping you inside. I don't want my guests to die, just to hit the park inspector over the head with a beseball bat becuase he annoys me about twenty times a day. And it usually really pointless stuff as well. Last time it was something about being placed in a lion cage by a pair of giant tweezers (sp?). That park inspector has some really odd stories let me tell you. [story]

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/WierdFishMan.jpg
^He came up with this theory that the Mysterious Stranger (In case you didn't know, he's the person who likes terrorizing all of my parks) is from another planet. He started telling me about the fish men who lived there, and how they were able to walk on land as well. He also said how they also listen to the Mysterious Stranger about everything, and that they would probably end up attacking the Earth someday.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Misc/Temple.jpg
^He also told me about this really odd temple that he would enter often, and told me that a dragon lived inside of it. That was the person who the Mysterious Stranger listened to, because the dragon was so large, that he could be eaten in one bite. Just all of these really odd stories from the park inspector have to make me laugh. Laugh ot the point where I can't even take him seriously anymore. Gosh, what does he do in his spare time anyways? Think of ridiculous stories to tell to me.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/ParkingLotalaRockFalls.jpg
^Another one of those really realistic looking parking lots. From this one you can see a large portion of Rock Falls. (Sign still being waited for) Just to let you know, the map was added on to for the parking lot to be added on. There might be a small expansion to the park in that direction as well, so I thought that I would just do it now, and start on the awesome parking lot. Oh, and sorry about not having the new foliage up yet. It should be up soon. I promise.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/StationShot.jpg
^A nice shot of the enterance station. Looks like someone needs to cut some of the weeds, or at least that's what the park inspector thinks. I thought that he knew it was supposed to look like that.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/PlentyoRock.jpg
^Is that even more of Rock Falls. Why of course it is. I just love that location right there. Oh, and look at the coaster cars on the track. (Thanks DasMatze :))

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Rattlesnake%20Desert/RockFalls.jpg
^And a beautiful view awaits you when you exit the ride. And how convienent, the park inspector is right there. Good thing I've been carrying around that baseball bat with me. *Goes to whack the park inspector with the baseball bat, as he starts to turn around. He runs and starts texting on his phone. I recieve the text and it says that there is a crazy man carrying a tree running after him. I start laughing.*

Look, I know that I've not been able to update the park thread often, but I do have other things that I'm working on with RCT3. It takes me a while to just get a little done. Just remeber to post, or the next update might be my last one here! Oh, and somebody might be greeted by the baseball bat as well.

Very nice. I particularly like the Rattlesnake Desert Entrance building. It interacts with the terrain nicely. The pic in the info center looks really nice too.

It's looking good, I would add some occasional plants in the parking lot, between every 15 spaces or so. I like the TNT entrance, or whatever that ride in the teaser is called. Don't be offended because people don't post. If the park gets lost even to the 2nd page, then no one really checks there that often.

Gibsnewt, thanks for your nice comment.

Sorry that it's been about a month again, but I've still ben pretty busy, and have finally got some more nice pictures to show you again. (Well, there's another teaser in there too, but you can still tell what it is.)

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/ParkEnterance.jpg
^I think the park enterance would be a good place to start. Anyways, Mr. Jo, our new security guard, is having a little bit of trouple coping with the fact that he doesn't have to be a janitor for the park anymore. He wore his old janitor outfit on the first day, pictured here, just to remind him of good times that he's had with the other staff at the park, becuase most of his days will now be speant in the hidden surviellence center inside of the park. Have fun Mr. Jo!

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/LockerRoom.jpg
^Now to display to everyone my awesome new lockers so that way everyone will rush to download them even thought they aren't 100% finished yet. I've noticed that they don't line up perfectly, as well as some of the pieces overlapping. I will try to get that finished sometime soon, along with the icons (the big icon that I usually put at the front of my set will probably end up being this picture). Grey lockers are also something that we've never really had before either. :) (They can also be red, yellow, green, purple, black, white, brown, yadda, yadda, yadda)

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/CafeView.jpg
^Now on to the new Alpine Station Café. This is right outside of the locker building, and is probably one of the most favorite places I have made in any park so far (even tought it still isn't completely finished, but that's beside the point). Anyways, that path is definately what takes the cake with this area. I think that helps it to look very alpine-y (yes, I just created a word). Anyways, there are two more pics below.

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc240/puzzled5543/Shadow%20Falls/Phase2/Alpine%20Valley/CafeBoothBuilding.jpg
^Yes, this is still a part of the cafe, it's just the indoor part. I think the dividers are very clever, and also catch the alpine feel very easily. Especially with all the nice smelling pine and cedar. (Is this a hallucination, or do I just love teasing you guys?)

Anywho, here's one more shot of the Alpine Station Café, this one looking towards the enterance to Rattlesnake Desert. You can also see the Swiss Tea Set (Jonnyears & ImagineerJohn's model is too big for there :(), along with the information building and Alpine Coffee.

The park is coming along a very nice way. There is however still some criticism. What a surprise! :p

First of all I'm going way back to post 12
Alpine coffee isn't buying for me. It's all wood and some odd placed stone. I don't know if I told you this then in a convo, but better twice then not.
Anyhow, it isn't really working for me. Every where where you look you see wood. And I feel it's just too monotomius. I think you should add different things in the coffee house. Paintings, flowers. Maybe a whole refurbisment. Seeing you latest update you know how to do it. Now do it there as well. Bring up the textures, details and, more importantly, the shapes. These walls can go diagonal, so use it. Try getting off the grid. Building diagonal shapes. Don't stay in the box, but think outside of it:

......__.......
..._/....\_...
..|.........|..
./..........|..
............|..
.\______/

I'm bad at drawing with these things, but I think you'll get the idea.
I'm not sure about the brickwall on the teacups as well. I don't know, I think the lightstone wall thingies in shy's alpineset 2 and 3 would look better with it. It's just popping around too much.
And last but not least: windows. They should be used more then they are now. I see loads of walls, decorated with lots of beams. But not much windows. While windows, logically can make things look so much better. Even in the last pic maybe, the one of the information building. Cause except for that painting there isn't really much to see really. I do like that wooden beam near the floor though, that is a nice little detail. Now you just need to place more. Another idea off course is using more of the mainstreet set of shyguy. The decorative walls you find in the fourth set. They already add a lot of detail to the building, just because it has an interesting texture.

Now, the 'teasing'. After 1 painting, I kinda get teased, but if the next update starts with a close up of the same picture and the update after it of the paintings picture full size with inverted colours. Then I'm not teased any more, especially when it is just a flat ride.
However, if the story the park inspector told you is part of a dark ride with a dragon and fish-men. Then I am definetly teased. After all, you tell things for a reason.
Teasing is an odd thing, but before you go doing it, you need to know what will tease people and what not. This way you can make people tease even better ;)

The shape of the old mine building is quite nice. However, I'm not so entirely pleased about the way the textures has been placed. I agree about the fact that DM's coal mine set need to be used. But I do think that it shouldn't only be used underneith it.
What I would like to see is a more deserted look, so pieces of DM's set. But also wood, like the ones you used, but also Ckef's rock side lagoon and even the ghost mine set. But I think that walls only shouldn't be enough. I think that beams (in this case MGP's/terraform's wooden beams) would look good on this as well. And off course windows and lots of vines.

The station building is looking really nice, really overgrown and nicely build. I do think that you may need to use some different kinds of shrubbery as well, but I don't know which one then. Perhaps some green, not entirely sure. It's worth the try I guess.
Also I would love to see the waterfall with shy's rocks. I know you've got a lot of shyguy in your park already. But personally I think that his rocks are the best that you can get right now and that they would look really good with this.

Please don't apollogize for not updating in a month, you update. We all appriciate that! :D

Hmm... I'll be finishing this comment later. I now have to go. I hope this helped you a bit already and speak to you later ;)
