Does anyone else have this problem with Aceana's path covers...
When using these path covers they create a shadow, which in effect does not make them look like paths at all, but something sitting on top of the path. Any ideas?

Turn shadows off, saves alot of lag and you don;t have to deal with problems like that.

Thanks for the response. I like having shadows on, I don't have any lag issues. So I assume this is just a design flaw?

No, it's a feature. :haha:
There are many path covers out there, try some others. Making the CS shadows work right can be ignored by CS makers since the CS is fine for people running with shadows off. Shadows are just another complication that requires learning. Think of it as a refinement or bonus, like adding quarter position options or being able to color some or all of the CSO.
Another aspect that can be distracting is LOD. Some covers look great close up, but disappear too soon as viewing distance increases. You just have to be flexible and maybe use different covers for different situations. It's fun, sort of.
