He's a character with a lot of potential, what direction should they go with his body change considering all the past dbz games?

Like Tenkaichi 1.

Step 1: You change with the character you are fighting.
Step 2: All of your stats decrease and you get no Blast 1's or Blast 2's.
Step 3: You keep Captain Ginyu's voice and Body Change for your Ultimate.
That's how it worked in the anime/manga, that's how it should work in the games.

Also that character should get a scouter like Goku did.

^What about health- that's the main issue.

Maybe keep the same amount of health.

Ah, there's another one for my "list of things that sucked" thread.

Like Tenkaichi 1.
Pretty much this. BT3's version of it is beyond worthless.

Screw that. The person he changes with should still have Ginyu's B1 and B2. Goku's body, firing a milky cannon.

If Ginyu can't use the techniques of the people he changes with, why would his opponents know how to use his? After all, both Ginyu and the person he changes with both find themselves in bodies that they have no familiarity with.
I suppose the effects could be temporary. After a certain amount of time passes the stat effect goes away and you gain access to your Blast 1's and 2's.

In BT1 he was horribly overpowered. You could lose health until being almost dead, and then switch bodies and have a sure win. This is cheap and unbalanced.
Here's my idea for Ginyu: Make it like BT1, but make it so that when you change bodies, you and your opponent end up with the same amount of health.
As for powers
1) You (Ginyu) could keep just one B2 move so you're not completely useless. If you switch with Goku, you get to keep his kamehameha, but not other more complex techniques.
2) Your opponent now in Ginyu's body keeps all his moves, except for his ultimate.
You could have something like a B2 from your new body to not be completely useless, and your opponent could

I don't agree with that. That would punish Ginyu for beating the tar out of his opponents.(If Ginyu was winning that is.) Besides that's the way it was in the show.
If people are worried about that then it should stay the same as in tenkaichi 3. If not, then it should be like in tenkaichi 1 but harder to hit, that way it isn't as cheap and relied on by Ginyu players.
As far as Ginyu using players moves, I think he shouldn't be able to, just to stay true to the show, unless you use generic moves like ki volley or such.

I believe Ginyu's body change should be like it was in BT2/3 when he takes the body of another character instead of the one he is fighting against. Was way more balanced then switching body with the opponent.

You should be able to change with the enemy but keep all your abilites from Ginyu or something like that.

You take your opponent`s body (and get his health), but you can do this only if he has less than 20000 health. You get his Blast 1 (or Blast 2, only one) your ultimate move becomes "Body change". Yes, in the show he can do it more than once. Your opponent gets Ginyu`s health and both blasts. That`s it!

I only used the body change in BT1 and 2. BT1's version was the best bcuz it stuck with the show. But wen i first tried BT2's i wuz so confused that i didnt kno wht was going on cuz doesnt rlly make any sense. But i do want to b able to get a scouter for the person that he changes bodies with, and the voice change, and no scouter for ginyu after the body change.

To tell you the truth, I don't like Body Change at all, but I think it's a neat little trick that deserves to stay.

Body Change in Tenkaichi 2 and Tenkaichi 3 sucked. They should just make it like how it was in the Budokai series. Then that might be a good reason to use Ginyu.

Here is my two cents... have him have it like BT3's system except he has atleast on special move... Actually it might be fine the way it is, Body change was always ment to be a last ditch move so if you got another characters moves then it would be good for you to use it right off the bat.

That might not work well... I mean, I used to get in wars switching out whom was Ginyu. This was especially bad in the Budokai series as the person would have Ginyu with just body change while the other had a full set of skills.
Ps: Just noticed I double posted without even thinking about it. Sorry about that.

I remenber that, fighting like that was murder, in BL it was a character swap.
