Hi, some of you might have seen my thorpe park thread, if you have then you owuld know im going to thorpe park for my birthday. I abssolutly HATE horror rides :( i get really scared, i have a fear of people in costumes too (masklophobia). But I reallllllllllllly wanna go on saw, it looks amazing. So i searched on youtube, wiki, everywere for a detailed description of what happens in the que and the inside parts of the ride. I know most of you wont be bothered to do this, but if you do I would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo greatfull.

the place i would like to know about are :-
1)the inside bit of the que line
2)the inside part of the ride (start and finish)
3)the inside exit

i would like to know, what happens and what scenery the is.

thanks ALOT
:D

Uh....from what I've heard the que has a scare in it. Something about shotguns lining the walls and strobes and shooting noises go off.

This inside part of the ride has the Jigsaw puppet on a bike and he tells you something about life and you can choose to rot and die or live on the edge and appreciate life. Then, axe blades swing and you drop vertically down into some sort of short coaster section. You barrell roll inside/outside and above you there is a body that shoots water onto the train.

Uh, from what I hear the station is pretty graphic. Cut up mannequins line the ceiling and there are screaming noises.

I haven't ridden it and this is only what I have heard/seen online.

It's HILARIOUS.

There's a bloke on the floor, flying on his back, clearly dead, with 'blood' spurting out of his front, as you go along a sort of barrel-roll.

It's clearly water.

It's not even red.

It's all like that really. Nothing scary at all.

If you're scared by some fake guns pointing down going "BANG" after a warning noise with a bit of compressed air, and some particularly empty threats from an adorable dolly on a trike, then you're in for a rough ride. If you're normal, then you'll find it as amusing as me.

The scariest part is the queue. This is one to head for on opening.

Never saw that myself, there are traps and things outside, but nobody in them when I was there. They're pretty freaky mind. And there's some police radio business which could freak you out if you have an overactive imagination, but you can just not listen.

And all the 'dead' people are quite obviously not real people. At ALL.

Never been on it, but I find that most people (especially teenage girls) exaggerate this kind of stuff.

Agreed.

Let's face it, the movies are aimed at them.

I'm always laughing during the movies when people die.

I've never ridden it, but I guarantee the scariest part will be when you show up, and see how long the line is.

I was at Thorpe Park last week, purely for the ride. While the ride lasts it's good fun. The queue was fairly entertaining, if a bit long. I've got pics of the queue, and one of inside section of the ride. We we're moved along in the warehouse pretty quickly because it was soooo busy.

I can upload the pics to my photobucket account if you like, but it might ruin things for you. Let me know!

There aren't meant to be any dead people, silly! The shop dummies are meant to be like testing the contraptions and such.

All my friends were like 'They are really unrealistic people' to which I just facepalmed.

To answere your Q fully...

1) The queue line. The outside part i basickly a nomel queue. You then have the tiny indoor queue line which is the only "scary" part. You queue there for aprox 5 min and all thats there is 3 shot guns on the cealing which go off every now and then. At the end of that small queueing bit you have a staff member to keep the stars clear of guests as they are not alowd to have people queueing on them. So you walk up that bit very quickly. Then your in the station.

2) The ride. Ask if you can get car 1 because car 2 stops just round the corner and saw gives you a talk while you wate for car 1 to clear. so to get it over and done quicker pick car 1. In the bulding after the first turn there is a set of swinging blades that you go towords and then drop underneth. Its a very steep and sudden drop. You then turn another corner and see a lode of cross bows that fire air at you. After that you have the barrel role over the dead boady and then your out in the open again. No more scary stuff ;)

3) there is nothing on the exit. Its purely a star case.

Hope ive helped and have fun on saw!!
