Red October Presents:
METRO RAIL
The innovative transport for the 21st centuary. This is just a modern day tram / train perfect for any park. The set includes: Metro Rail CTR, Metro Rail Platform and Metro Rail Ticket Stand. Any requests or suggestions welcome. I am still working out the kinks and problems, any help on those would be nice! This os just a simple design, I tried to go with the original RCT3 style. If you think I should make it fancier, just say!
The Platform

(The path covers are DazMatze!)
The CTR
There was originally going to be a lead locomotive but it fell to the extra Car error!

The Stall...Uh Oh!
Any help solving the problem below? The effect points in sketchup are right in front of the vendor! But why do they walk behind. Please help me solve this.

The textures need alot of work, and maybe you could make the turn styles you get in the stations. :)

Yeah, the textures will be worked on, the grey on the platformis just a representation for now. But I am fond of the pure white...the wheels on the train will be animated, just doing it now and the seats inside will be texture ;)
Can you post a pic of the turnstyles...

Um, the effect points are actually behind the vendor effect point- your model is facing the wrong way.

Yeah, thanks, I have got soooo many ASE, OVL's I have probably gotten confused with wrong model.
UPDATE
The grey around the platform has been textured. The train also has animated wheels. I am working on an Arrivals / Departures television screen that sits abpve the path.
Pics coming soon

how about a good brick, stucco, or maybe even siding? just my opinion, i think that the train looks a bit too blocky....i dont know if thats what you were going for, but it would be nice to see it with more of a rounder shape, maybe? i dont know, its just my thought.....heck, i cant even make a CTR yet, so who am i to critisize? lol

^^Hey, I know what you mean...I was attempting to not make it too realistic, just one of those tradition RCT3 transports.

UPDATE
Well, this set is just about to be rapped up. Maybe in the next week or so. I have been on holidays so I haven't gotten much done. The problem with the stall is still there and un solvable. Thats why I have altered the ticket stall. It actually looks good in game. My CTR car I am still working on. Just waiting for chico to fix it for me I hope ;). So the scenery items are just about done. All I am waiting for now is the CTR to fix. I am working as hard as I can.
Sorry about the lack of updates. There isn't much to tell. Hopefully I will get it finished.
(Ha ha ha, just realised BUMP!)
