I didn't see a thread devoted to this, but i was curious as to whether or not Ghostbusters would be coming to Steam? I know it would sell like crazy on there, i'd buy it in a heartbeat. I only buy games on Steam with very few exceptions, and would be quite bummed if the game didn't release there as well.
Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks.

Why do you only buy games on steam? But then I'm looking on the opposite side of the glass as I only buy retail (hard) copies of games.

I used to buy all my games at retail, but i have really bad OCD. Anything i buy, in terms of a game, i would obssess over the box/packaging/disc being perfect.
With Steam, i totally bypass that, i can just buy a game, download it, and enjoy it. I know it sounds weird, i've unfortunately dealt with it my entire life, since the NES days.
The only exception is that i buy collector's editions of games that are worth it. (I.E. Wrath Of The Lich King, Fallout 3, etc) I think the only game this year so far i've absolutely HAD to buy at retail because i had no choice was Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena.
I'm just really hoping Ghostbusters will appear on steam. Sadly, so far there's no indication it is going to be.

It's not to hard to keep retail games perfect anymore. Plastic slipcases seem to last forever. I have friends with OCD so I can understand what you have gone through. But I like to feel like I own something. Then again with the ultra restrictive DRMs game companies keep using, it's getting harder and harder to feel that way no matter how you buy a game.

I would have bought it on Steam had it been available and they didn't strip multiplayer out of it. No dice now.

I've emailed several big gaming news sites asking them to pass along to their readers that the PC version apparently doesn't support online play. Hopefully we can get the word out and people won't buy the game thinking they're getting something they're not.
