I dunno... I'm a bit interested.
My only comment so far is that, while your lighthouse is a lot less campy and more realistic than the in-game one, it looks very thin. While the in-game one actually looks like it's made out of cast-iron or what-not, yours seems papery in comparison. I have not idea how to fix that, but I just though I'd add my input.

I would definitely use the power lines, I'd probably use the light house too.

Your light house seems a bit thin... Arn't light houses look more like the ones in game?

I am still trying out things to get the right scale. And I admit I don't know how they got that finish on the in-game lighthouse . But It is coming along.

Nice lighthouses, i really like lighthouses....would like to see some more of this set. To those who think that they (lighthouses) are too thin, not all lighthouses are the same size, and height. i think they are about the right size. good job on these.

Well thanks alot !! I really like the Idea of this set , I have been looking at pictures of differant Lighthouses from Michigan , Since Michigan actually has more lighthouses than any other state , there are alot to look at. I am going to play with a few differant designs , and make a small set of just lighthouses plus a few things that will go along with the theme for piers and stuff , Like mooring pylons and some breakwater walls or something. This may take awhile , but I will do it at whatever pace I have time for .

I don't want to give too much away ....but this is looking really Good  :)
I have some really good new textures to try out !!
How did you get the inspector up there?
HEHE!! They were wrong ....I actually pulled the inspector up on a single tile to the height of the lighthouse walkway then raised the path just one tick above the ground and unpaused ....the inspector jumps on the new 'raised'path and walks around. then I lower the ground and put the lighthouse under the inspector and let the game run till he is in just the right spot , then pause , delete the path and take pictures. The light in the lighthouse is actually a laser pod and I was assigning a spotlight to it and that is what makes the Light work.
Pretty simple huh?

I love this set! I was really waiting for someone doing such a set. it looks great so far and I like the size of the tower.
Maybe it's possible, that you release some single parts of the tower (eg the round glasses) so that everyone can make his own lighthouse...just an idea.

At this point, this is still in the experimental stage while I sort out what seems to work best .....I will see what I can come up with.

MI has more lighthouses than any other state, and some cool ones too. :)
I was just thinking mgp, I know we can't make "beams" of light, but maybe an animated "shutter" rotating around the light should give it a more realistic look.
Not sure if you've ventured into animation yet or not :)

No ... unfortunatly I haven't had the time to venture to animation yet. But it would be nice to figure out a way to just put a flashing beacon in this.
Maybe put one of the prison lights on it...??? I will look into that.
