I'm working on a set and I have a problem with one of the textures... It's repeated in little boxes and I was wondering how i could fix it... Here's a picture

1)Was the texture a solid color? You can not use the in-3D-modeling program solid colors.
2)Is that the picture you want? If so, it is just too small. Go into your modeling program and click to resize the texture in 'Edit' for Sketchup in the 'Paint' section. Resize the image from (example) 0.05 to 1.50.

Hope this helps!

Ahh, if you are using Sketchup, you gotta right click and texture position, and move at least 2 of the pins to the corns of the model to pin the texture from doing that.

^ Thats not true.

How did you apply the texture? Did you make it a group then added the texture to the "group" or was it un grouped?

I found that you cant add a texture to just a group. the group has to be openes to be able to select each seperate face, then applied. Or explode the group, then texture then regroup.

Duh....^ I would hope he knew that much.. But you still gotta pin most textures...But sketchup is a n00b program for 3D modeling...better to learn that and move on to learn new things..

Yeah, what spice said.....although the problem above would (I think) Require the texture and position. Believe me, that problem plagued me for the Halo Set...until some one told me about it :)
