Hey I'm new to using CS in Rollercoaster Tycoon, I didn't even know it existed until really recently and I'm having a few problems.

I recently downloaded some scenery by Vodhin and Shyguy. I have just tried out Shyguy's main street 1 in an attempt to build a train station like the one at Disneyland to take my peeps from the entrance of my park to the rides.

I placed the walls so there was a path either side, but my peeps are just ignoring the fact that there is a wall there and walking straight through it.

Is this a problem with the scenery pack? Is it a problem with how I'm placing the scenery? Or do I just have to find a way past it, like making any walls one square thick or something?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. But any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think its a problem with the scenery. I was making an info. building and i noticed the peeps walked through the walls. So, to solve the problem, I just deleted the path behind the wall and left the path in front of the doorway and it solved the problem. In other places in my park i just choose to ignore it. Its whatever you want to do.
Hope I was of assistance! :D

It is not a problem with any one CS pack. All CS does not register in game as the person 2 posts above said.

If you put a path there, people will walk there. Don't connect paths that will go through walls.

Download Shyguy's water set 2 and place invisible gates, and make it so the Peep's can't walk through.

There's an option in the CS importer to turn Collision Detection on and off. Most Custom Scenery (building pieces, Coaster extras, supports) needs collision detection off so placement isn't limited. Because it's off, peeps walk through it.

It's similar to the M Brookes cheat. :)

One more thing you should know.

Because the Collision Detection is turned off, you can't delete CS with the garbage can either.

It can still be deleted, you just have to do it piece by piece.

Whats the M Brooke cheat? (sorry for being so noobish. lol:noob:)

It allows you to place in-game walls and items next to a path, its quite useful for non-cs users.

put shyguy's invisible No Entry sign in the walls.

You can download it in his Water Set 2 Here:
