I didn't bring my camera but still on vacation with a labtop of course. My inspiration level as dramatically boosted. But I got some great miles stones for me.
Around 2PM I took my cousins downtown to the boardwalk for the 2-7 wrist band. We took the bus, and arrived an hour later. (To many stops!!!) Trimpers isn't on a pier its next to the boards at the end of the island. The first ride I went on is the oh so famous Haunted House, nothing new this year and all stunts are working well, but the bat looks so beat up with it's finger's broken off. :( But it gives me inspiration for a CS set. Next I hit Bill Tracy's Pirates Cove, the best dark fun house on the east coast, with slanting room, crooked corridor, displays and mazes. I rode Wipeout, and then we went on the Tilt a whirl. It is amazing how they keep these 50 year old rides in wondeful shape for generations to ride.
I went on the Tobaggon next, it is a classic 70's tower where you go verticle up (CFR anyone make one? Please?) and spiral down around it with a back breaking drop at the end. (Ouch!) I went on Moby Dick, and Bumper cars. Somehow I decided to go on Freakout!?!? A ride that I was afraid of! (A good milestone!) Next to keep it to the pace, I dared myself to go on (GASP) Me mr, afraid of heights and that stomach drop feeling. The highest I ever been on coaster wise was 98 feet Rolling thunder at Six Flags GADV. I went on my first ever Boomerang!!!!!! What a shocker, I rode it 20 times!!! The ride is alike with Sea Serpent coaster at Moreys piers, (Another ride i CAN now go on down there.) I think it opens a gate to much higher coasters now because that was like 140 feet? 180ft? And no longer am I afraid of hieghts and it now helped my stomach feeling trama and I am ust to it now!! So Horray! (Milestone #2 Rode a Vekoma Boomerang!) So all together two mile stones broken! Tomorrows or in the week I'll post a second trip report for the Pier. So check it out soon!
