"From the dawn of time we came, moving silently down through the centuries. Living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the Gathering, when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you.....until now."-Ramirez in the first Highlander film.
Remember the rules of the game:
1. No fighting on Holy Ground
2. Only 1 immortal can battle another
3. In the end, there can be only one!
Now is the time of the gathering, and the few of us that remain shall indeed battle. Begin!

Gutwig stood upon his empire, staring at the inferiors, he felt superior knowing he could kill him when ever he wished, but he would let them live, as long as they worked for him. His servant spoke to him
"Lord Heisag he have reports of a man Bulgaria who was gunned by police, he took a bullet in the heart but he still moved"
Gutwig smiled
"Prepare my the plane"
finally his patience had paid off, he grabbed his armor and weapons, he gripped his hammer, he didn't use it to kill his opponent with it, he just enjoyed beating them senseless with it.

Edward walked down the street. THe New York air was chilly, even with his thick clothing. He stepped into his office. "How're we doing?" he asked. The Secretary looked at him, motioning with her head. He nodded, drawing his blade. "Gwynedd!". Another immortal jumped out from under the desk, a pair of butterfly swords in his hands. "There can be only one!" "Dont I know it" Edward said.

The time is coming...There can be only one...83 immortals have been slayed, 1000's of innocents have been slaughtered at the hands of me Adam thought in his mind. what am I too do? Do I slay myself, NO I will will be the only one, I will kill them off and bring peace to this planet. And if I get slayed, I shall finally be with my lord...God.Adam had walked for an hour, when he spotted a cute goth girl, he walked up to her, weirdly, she made the first words."Hello Adam, how has the life of an Immoral treated you?Hope it's been well.|She said to him.
"Who...Who are you?"Adam said worrily, ready for anything.
"Don't worry kid, you can drop it, It's me Eve Taberam"Eve Replied.
"Eve?!?My old teacher?!?You...You looking Stunningly different (http://bezzalair.deviantart.com/art/Lycoris-Ossroe-125525042)."Adam replied with his jaw dropped.

"Well, you're in town? Why don't you stay at my place?"Adam asked.
"Sorry, I'm leaving the City today...For South America, maybe I will see you again, don't count on it though..."Eve replied.
"What...Why not?"Adam asked.
"Because kid, The Time of Gathering is coming, Immortals are fighting to reach it, and to Become the One.You'd better be darn good if you wish to see me again"Eve replied to him.
"Where in South America are you going?"Adam asked.
"Can't say aloud, and it is better for you to find me."Eve replied.
"Com'n I need this, I need to too teach me the next step, that one you promised hundreds of years ago!"Adam barked.
"Okay...fine, I'll be in...Brazil"Eve Whispered.

Hecate Tenenbaum took a good luck at her student, seeing that she had grown much since their last meeting. "Camille, do you know what you have to do?" She asked her student, staring at her intently. The young, black clad girl put her stuffed, white rabbit in the front of her shirt, letting it hang out. She answered emotionlessly: "I must kill the other Immortals and become The One." "And do you remember what I've taught you in our years of hard training?" "Yes." "It was a pleasure working with you, Camille. Good luck."

New York, USA...
Look at them. Scampering and swarming everywhere like ants. Insects waiting to be crushed beneath the hands of giants. I pity them, with their short lives, stupidity and naivety. They don't even know of us. Mankind is pathetic, and deserves to be destroyed.
Algol pondered to himself as he sat inside his expensive car, a glass of wine in his hand. The car stopped and he heard the sound of dozens of footsteps quickly hurrying across concrete as the reporters and papparazzi stormed the car. Algol drained down his drink and walked out as the side door slid open, giving a fake smile and waving to the crowd of cameras and reporters.
"Mr. Teharqa, please what do say about those that-"
"Mr. Teharqa, how do you respond to those accusation by-"
"Mr. Teharqa, what is this new experimental project your company is working on?" a lovely looking young brunette asked.
He smiled and answered her.
"Pyratech Industries is currently working on a new experimental plasma generating matrix, which will be able to project a protective and transparent dynamic plasma covering which will surround and take any damage to what the matrix has been installed in. It is still in is Alpha Stages, but development is going well and we have already managed to get a working plasma generator which will work in tanks and similar sized objects," he replied, not scared to tell the press the truth
"Mr. Teharqa, Mr. Teharqa!" the reporters were like bloodhounds that had sniffed out a fox, barking and baying for blood or in this situation, news.
"No more questions, I do have work to get to," Algol laughed and waded his way through the rather large crowd. This wasn't hard seeing as Algol was quite a large man, and with a fierce and powerful aura around him that made others submissive and back down.
Oh if only they knew what he really did...

Edward ducked under the blow, the second sword whistling over his head. He tackled the aggresor. The pair fell into the desk, wrestling for control. Edward caught a boot to the chest, rolling back onto his feet.
He swept his Gunblade through the air, neatly cleaving through the opposing immortal's neck. The body vanished, and the office was filled with elitrical energy. Edward gritted his teeth as his body recieved the quickening.
He stood, helping his secretary, Sarah, to her feet. "Call 911, report a break in" he said.

He put his hands over his head and remembered that the institute had recently been purchased by a company called pyratech, since they purchased people have been leaving and they have never came back.
as soon as Olan was about to make up his mind, he heard employees from Pyratech has entered institute
Pyratech employee:"we're looking for the man who doesn't age"
Mental institute employee:"what for"
Pyratech employee:" we've got some experiments to do"
for the man who doesn't age. He knew it was him they were looking for, he was getting up when suddenly a gas came and Olan chocked, then he saw the employees silhouette, then he began to fall asleep.

Adam bursted into his apartment room, he needed o pack his simple needs, cause he knew he wouldn't be gone for long.So he opened the door to his drawer and got out 8 shirts, 3 pants, a few pairs of socks, and a few shorts. He was sad that he couldn't bring his armor, for it was destroyed in battle when Adam faught the Pirate Immortal, Barbossano. So he then shut the door and headed for the airport.
Adam had come and gone when he reached the Airport, and was already on the plane he needed for his trip to Brazil.
Brazil, the next day.
Adam couldn't forget the day he had to leave his teacher's training from those Hunters and watchers who where and maybe still after him, but it was thanks to Eve that he survived. The voices of those watcher's still haunt him too this day...
"Okay Adam, It's seems as if you're reaching prefection over the years that I've been teaching you, till now."Eve announced.
"Well it is all thanks too you Master Taberam, I am honoured too be your student for all these years"Adam responded.
"Well as you know, It has come down too your final day of training as my student, and too that I say well done."She replied.
"Really?! That is incredible news, I thank you for teaching --"Adam was rudely interupted by a deeped voice male."Listen Taberam! We know you're teaching one of those Immortals! Now if you hand him over too us, we won't have to do anything worse then last time..."The deep voiced man chuckled.
"Quick Adam, you'll have too escape through the underground passage, quickly, before they get in; I'll hold them off."Eve told him."And don't worry, one day I will finally train your for your final day"
Adam shook those memories away, as he started his search for his teacher.

"Of course, you know me, willing for you too teach me..."Adam said blushing...never feeling these feelings for his teacher.
"Well that is good, do you still have your armor?"Eve asked.
"No sorry Eve, Barbossano (http://genzoman.deviantart.com/art/Blackbeard-83323260) destroyed it in battle, along with my sword...I havn't faught another Immortal since then, I've been hiding from them..."Adam replied lowering his head.

Edward blocked a sword slash from the left, cutting the man down. "Where are all these Normans coming from?" he wondered. The Normans had invaded Endland and Wales. Suddenly, pain shot through Edward. He'd been run through from behind. "No! Edward!" he heard someone yell, but it didnt matter. He fell into darkness.
Edward felt life in him again. How was it possible? He opened his eyes. The battle was over. He stood. His wound was gone. "How was I not dead?" he thought. He started for home. "No, I cant. They'd call me a devil. I have to go elsewhere". Edward turned around, and headed instead for England, where he could rest and try and solve this oddity.

"Good afternoon Mr. Teharqa," the secretary at the front desk said as Algol walked through the doors, leaving the cameras, lights and reporters behind. Two buff and mean looking guards stood by the doors, well armed and masked, carrying experimental weaponry. When a big and famous corporation that develops military tech hardware and weaponry bases itself right in the middle of Manhattan, you had to make sure you had the highest and best security you could get.
"Afternoon Miss Simpson, how are you this fine day? Hay fever gone yet?" Algol smiled back at the young and rather stunning secretary. She smiled and giggled, her black hair matching well with her mocha brown skin. She was originally from Columbia but had been educated in Harvard University.
"Yes sir, the medicine you gave helped tremendously," she replied.
"Well that's good to hear. See you later Miss Simpson," he said, walking past her and into a high tech looking elevator. It went up at an amazing pace and he soon found himself on the top floor of the building. His floor. His office was massive, with huge bulletproof windows that had a beautiful view of the city. A sixty inch HD plasma television graced one of the walls and he turned it on to watch the news as he sat down in his chair.
"-And there has been another break in down in Wallstreet, where supposedly a man broke into the office of successful stock broker Edward Gwynedd. Mr. Gwynedd spoke to us earlier and said how the intruder had broken into his office and threatened his secretary with a gun. He had managed to wrestle with the attacker over the gun and sent him running off. Police are still searching for this intruder," the news reporter said, standing in front of a medium sized building down in Wallstreet with a broken window.
"Hm, break in. Even I can smell the bull**** all the way from here. These new class of Immortals fighting one another, no sense of subtlety at all. They just go around fighting and slicing one another whenever the hell they want to. This Edward is impressive though, having survived so many attacks. Let's wait for him to rack up a few more before I end his spree," Algol smiled, leaning back in his chair and changing the channel.

A splash of water smacked into the ragged face of the man, waking him up.
"Business as usual." he grumbled, crawling out of his refrigerator box of a shelter, grabbing a fat bodied keg encased in a paper bag, holding it up to his mouth, but what he anticipated did not come.
"Why is the rum always gone?" the man asked himself as he grabbed a styrofoam cup, getting up as a passerby spat on him, a scowl spreading across the bum's face, throwing the bottle of rum at the person when he was almost out of sight.
"Git." he declared as he got up and walked a bit outside the alley and shook the cup gently at passing people, begging for money.

Adam looked at the sword beside the armor, he ripped it out of the stand, and stood in fighting stance, letting Eve charge, making the first move.As the swords clashed Eve tripped Adam up, then almost stabbing his face, Adam blocked the hit with the flat edge of the sword; pushing her off him.He then hit her in the calf, knocking her down to the ground, then he got up quickly; and kneed her in the face. Eve got up and still looked sturdy.
"Is that all you got?Looks like your fighting skills have rusted on you...Or is it because I am your master and you don't wanna kill me?"Eve asked as she charged once more.
Adam had blocked all of her attacks managing to trip her up then started to slash at her until she said "Okay, okay Adam, you have beaten me"Eve said.
"Really!?!?"Adam shouted with glee.
"NO!"Eve replied tripping him up, quickly getting to her feet, as did adam.
"Never let anyone fool you, that is the moral of this test and your final practice lesson will start as soon as you can beat me."She told him as she slashed his left arm, he slashed back in pain, striking she sword arm; forcing her to drop her Katana. He then had the tip of his Holy weapon at her throat, Give up, I win."Adam told her.

"Wrong knight. I win," a soft and calm voice spoke from the shadows. Adam turned around just in time to see a small blade fly at him and slash his hand, causing him to drop his sword. He cursed and stumbled backwards and next he knew someone was behind him, two dagger pressed against his throat. The cold, cool metal of the blade made his throat itch.
Eve gasped and looked up at the party crasher, instantly recognizing who it was. The man wore what seemed like archaic but rather colourful clothes, from Renaissance era Italy. His face was hidden beneath his cowl, but there was a slight smile on his lips.
"Ezio Auditore di Firenze AKA The Assassin. Also known as The Nobleman. Born in 1461, died in 1486. Descendant of the greatest known assassin in the world, Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad AKA Master Assassin and the Son of None," Eve said, giving a brief introduction of the mystery man and all of his known accomplishments and deeds. Ezio ducked the blow, leaning backward so much that it looked unreal and rather disturbing. He sprung a small blade on his boot, kicking forward and slashing at Adam's hands, cutting off a couple fingers.

"Aw, lost contact with Aria? Can't find your little sweetheart? Miss your baby girl?" Eve asked innocently.
Ezio's appearance and stature was neutral, but his voice was firm and commanding.
"She's not my sweetheart, or my baby girl. Kravinoff told me to look after her and so that's what I did," Ezio said.
"Speaking of the Hunter, have you heard all those rumours and talking about him still being around? Last I heard, someone had spotted him in Kenya, hunting lions with his bare hands," Eve said.
"Yes I've heard of it, and I don't believe it. Kravinoff's been dead for centuries, and I don't think he's still alive. But I'm not here to talk about dead men coming back. The girl?" Ezio asked.

New York, USA...
Algol sat at his desk, writing into his computer. He was perfecting and refining the specs on a set of blueprints for a new automated defense systems that the lab techs had sent from down below. 4,000 years of fighting and killing made you an expert in these sort of things. Plus, he hadn't become CEO of a very famous and powerful company like Pyratech Industries because of the massive sum of money and treasures he had harbored over the centuries.
He was just about to send the blue print back down to the lab boys when suddenly one of his seemingly bulletproof windows exploded inwards. Algol calmly stood up and waited for the smoke to dissipate and reveal the intruder. The man was around Algol's height, wearing some kind of very crude armored suit with an even cruder looking jet-pack attached to his back. Pathetic.
The man's face was hidden by his army green helmet and he held a vicious looking curved blade in one hand, a pistol in the other.
"I thought I sensed another Immortal in here!" the stranger snarled, holding up his weapon.
"Hm, I smelt you coming from a mile away. It seems subtlety isn't really your greatest skill," Algol replied placidly, getting up and walking forward past his desk. The computer retracted into the desk so that it wouldn't get damaged.
The stranger growled angrily, fueled by adrenaline and aggression.
"There can be only one!" he roared and charged forward.
"Oh please, spare me the ****e," Algol said, raising his hand up. Suddenly an arcane and ancient looking staff that had been hanging from one of the walls flew through the air into his open grip. He swung it and then pointed it at the quickly approaching attacker. Suddenly, the Immortal was blown back an invisible gravitational blast, rolling along the ground and almost falling through the hole he had made in the glass walls. He got up and fired his pistol but they seemed to suddenly stop mid-air, just a couple centimeters away from Algol's face.
"Truly pathetic," Algol said, slamming his staff into the ground and causing a shock-wave that blew the man back and slammed him hard against the glass, creating a crack. The man groaned and tried to get up but Algol slammed his foot into his stomach before grabbing his neck guard and throwing him clear across the room.
"Come on Immortal, I want a satisfying fight before I add your head to my collection. Get up," Algol spat pitifully, using his staff to lift the man up before slamming him back down powerfully. The man groaned and fired his pistol again and this time Algol did nothing, laughing as the bullet went clearly through his left shoulder.
"Is that it?" Algol asked, stepping up and slamming his staff through the man's jet-pack, tearing it off viciously. The man grunted and swung his sword but Algol dodged it and jumped back.
"Huh, now I'm bored," Algol said, putting his staff away and pulling out two short blades of different colours. One was red while the other was blue. They both seemed to glow with an internal light of some sort. Algol stepped forward, parrying the attacker's blows before slashing forward amazingly quickly and slicing off both of the man's arms. He screamed as his limbs fell limply to the floor. Algol snarled and stabbed both swords through the man's chest, each blade narrowly missing the heart, scraping its sides. The blow was fatal, but it didn't kill the man right away. Algol had perfected this strike hundreds of years ago.
"Now. Give. Me. Your. Face!!!" Algol growled, succumbing to the insanity in his mind, grabbing the Immortal's face with one hand and pulling with all his strength. The man screamed as his entire face was brutally ripped off before going silent. Algol wiped the blood off his face and then decapitated the Immortal to make sure he was dead.
As the Immortal exploded into a vast amount of electrical energy which Algol absorbed with a satisfied sigh.

The bum went into the shop titled "Pirate's Keep", a dark-skinned woman at the counter looking up to see his familiar face.
"Back again, eh stranger?" she asked as the bum looked up.
"Indeed love, now, can I have my rum?" the bum asked with a toothy smirk.
"That depends," the barkeep replied, "can I have my money?" she said with a smirk equal to his as the bum poured out his change on the table.
After counting it all up, the bartender gave the bum a jug of rum and as he was walking out, the woman called out to him.
"You can't hide forever, Jack." was all she had to say to stop the bum in his tracks.
"Do not worry Jack, I am not here to fight, I am one of the watchers, and a friend of your deceased master."
"Really? You knew him?" Jack asked.
"Indeed I did. But I'll tell you more of that later, for now, just go, and go quickly." the bartender told him, Jack obeying, a bit weirded out by the strange woman. Paying it no mind for now, Jack gulped down a swig of rum and walked along until he saw a titanic building in the distance, an all too familiar shiver shooting through his body. Algol opened his eyes after all of the energy had entered his body and died down, and put away his two blades. He grunted in annoyance at the broken window. Luckily, up this high, most of what happened probably wouldn't have been heard down below. But there was a glaring hole in the window in front of him, and it would attract attention sooner or later.
He grabbed his staff and walked up to the hole, about to use its telepathic and gravitational powers to restore all the broken pieces and restore the window when suddenly a slight and rather enjoyable tingle went up his spine. The same feeling he had had before the Immortal had burst through and attacked him. There was another nearby.
He looked out through the window to the city below, using his hawk-like eyes to scan the area and narrow down where he thought the Immortal was. He soon found him, what seemed to be a bearded and scruffy looking homeless guy near one of the major pathways that led to his district. He could see that this Immortal had sensed him too, and smiled, holding up his staff so that it would reflect the sunlight, telling the hobo that he was there.
And that he knew where he was.

Olan was placed inside a vehicle know as a "conditioning" so they could teach him a lesson, little did they know Olan had made lock pick using his bones, being an immortal they would merely grow back. He got his lock open and jumped out of the van in the middle of the streets and raised his arms in the air,
"Praise you lord! I'm..*BANG!*
a man in a motorcycle rammed him right in the face, knocking Olan in the middle of the street.

Edward lost control of the vehicle, flipping it and crashing into the street, rolling several times. After a moment, he climbed to his feet. He walked over to the man who had jumped out in front of him. In an instant, Edward knew this man was an immortal.
Civilians were starting to gather. Edward looked around, "He's okay". He picked his bike back up, noting that it was still good to run. He would wait and see wat this immortal would do.

Olan saw that Edward had immortal traits, Olan was a pacifist, if acting like a coward would get him to safety he would do it
He pointed at Edward
"This man is trying to kill me!"
The crowd where going around pondering at what had happened, seeing this as his chance he then ran and kept running until he saw the van was coming back at him.
"is he gonna hit me?...he wouldn't"
the van hit him
the van ran him over, the crowd was in serious shock. The drivers looked, then they picked up a phone
"The first one attracted another one"
Then suddenly a fleet of vehicles arrived and men were coming out with strange weapons

Edward looked around. "What the..." he started. "On your knees, immortal!" one shouted. Two of the men adanced with swords. "Hunters attacking in broad daylight! What is this?" Edward thought. The crowd was running. Edward backed into an alley, slipping his own sword from his coat. "This isnt my day" he thought. "Need a hand?"
Edward looked up to see someone with a katana jump down. It was none other than Connor Macleod. "Gwynedd, good to see you" "Likewise Highlander. Lets mop these guys up, shall we?"
