~ The Medieval Fair ~
A few years ago geologists discovered the remains of an old Medieval Village. I have taken on the responsibility to refurbish the old village and create Park around it. My name Ryan, General Manager of Soar Works.

Other than the priceless village, the rest of the park will be built with a modern medieval theme.

This man made lake will have many uses.

Present and future plans will be explained in the coming updates.

The village will be built to incorporate this coaster.

Firstly, yes, your pictures are too big (view it's properties!).
Your park looks great! The only thing I don't like is the use of the games scrolling signs. It kind of ruins the medieval theme.
Can't wait to see more!

I like it, very colorful! The waterfall next to the queue line in the first pic, fits in pretty good. Can't wait for the next update!

I really like the park. Especially the lake in the middle. It is very creative! The waterfall next to the path fits in very well. The overall theme is wonderful! Keep it up, and you will have yourself a quality park!

Thanks for the comments every one. I feel like a noob because this is not my first time posting images, I have the img tags around them. I don't understand why they are to big. I'm doing what I always have done. I agree with the scroling entrance signs, I'm in the process of making logos (I Hate Making Them) could someone help me? please?
Lots of love

It looks nice, though the trees seem to sparse. I think it could use a thick forest, and a bit more terraforming. It just seems kinda flat. Anyhow, this appears to have some potential... I'll keep an eye on it.

Ryan, your pictures are too big. Pictures should be no larger than 800 x 600. Please click on the edit button and replace the IMG tags with shot tags. I've done the first one for you so you can see how to do it. Thank you.

Wow, great use of the medieval scenery from NetOn 2. I myself am making a medieval park, and I hope this fair ends up just as good.

Hey guys, I got a chance to step out of my office to check up on the progress of the park. I was not in the park long before I was approached by one of the ground supervisors. He informed me that there have been some unexplainable events in the Medieval Village. He explained that a surveyor had been electrocuted when he steeped in to a puddle of water. The man is ok but no one can explain where the source of electricity came from.

While you sit and enjoy the view of Arthurs Bay, you can grab a root beer float or some soft serve ice cream. The towers you see in the photo are for security reasons. There is at least one security guard in each tower, 24/7.

While wondering the new progress of the Village I could not help but think about the “events” that have been reported.

Nice overview shot, the park is coming along nicely. The skyline is especially good.
Two suggestions. One is that the lake looks angular surrounded by all those paths. Maybe you could have some land between the path and the water (at least in some parts) and have a nice natural curve. Throw in some trees and some dirt or sand and you've got a nice looking lake shore. I also like the look of the castles against the water, though, so I'd do a little of both.
Minor one, those tables only have one bench. If you have a path tile not connected to any other path tiles, you can put four benches on it, and then just recconect it to the rest of the path system.

Glsbnewt21 - First Post! LOL Thanks.
pcwfreak - Thanks for your suggestions. Do we have a Canada's Wonderland Freak? If so you know where I have gotten my inspration here.
JonAAAthunder - Thanks, The little water fall came to me and took no time to do. I love those times.
Hotasflames99 - Hope so!
Avian - Thanks.
randomperpie - Thank you.
bereth14 - What am I using? I don't have Net on 2.
Glsbnewt21 - I know what you mean with the path and the lake. I whole idea is to have the path right beside the lake. I'm going to try to add more trees on the path, see how that works.
volcom33 - Thanks!
JonAAAthunder - Lighthouse? thoses are just towers that are used for the security gaurds. Thanks though!
bereth14 - Yeah I'm trying to find midway games COS. Thanks Though!
I was super excited last night and I am almost finished the Village, Update Tonight!

You don't have NetOn 2? Then who made that medieval set?
LostThought15

^ That would be Ralfvieh's Medieval Set.
Ryan, I'd say you have two issues holding you back.
1. Your park is far too spread out and barren.
You have plenty of rides, but almost nothing else. To advance to the next hypothetical tier of designers, you need to introduce a greater depth of theming to your park. Themes can be ride specific or area specific, and spread beyond the ride itself. It encompasses the queue and more.
2. You have no grasp of the diagonal. We all struggle with the grid. It's one of the big nagging mistakes of RCT3, and the series as a whole. I recommend you get Belgabor's invisible paths. They are truly amazing. Combine them with path covers and you could build a wonderful dock over that hideously rectangular lake.
Nevertheless, I hope that this park is a great stepping stone in your development. I look forward to watching it grow.

When I got back to the office, Ashley informed me of another accident in the Village. This time a painter fell from his ladder while working on a side of a building. The worker is recovering in hospital with minor injuries. The painter said he heard someone yelling close by but by our time records show that Mike Nugent was the only worker in the village and the time of the accident. He believes the ladder was kicked out from under him.

This is the tunnel Mike believes he heard the scream.

On-Ride
I have been approached by a few builders that have been working on the Village. They feel that there is a supernatural presents around them when they work. They have threatened to quit. I convinced them to stay with the installation of cameras in the Village. I don’t understand why this is happening only here.

Interesting...
To be honest, Rollback seems to kill the medieval theme (I guess you're REALLY inspired by you-know-where, lol). The detailing around that area is not so great.

Supernatural, interesting. But, Rollback's supports go onto the path. You should remove that path and put some fences around the supports, it's dangerous.

Cool, little story you've got going. For Rollbacks supports I think you should put a footer on the ones over the path.

No it's not.. supports don't move... :p
And the track level is high enough to be out of reach.

What CS did you use to put the roof over the teacups ride?

The first 3 pictures are especially nice, they really achieve a good mysterious kind of spooky medieval theme. Rollback looks like a very nice standard roller coaster for this type of park. I think it could use a little more shade over the queue line, it gets hot standing there for too long.
Nice park, look forward to seeing more. Sorry I didn't comment when you asked me to bump the thread, I was on vacation without computer access for a few weeks.
