Wow thats insane! Though it looks as if he is hooked onto the track like any coaster train, so I guess it is sorta safe!

Hahaa i know its mental, and not safe according to the article, because its a woodie if his skates hit a loose nail or something he could of fallen off and died.

I think it would have been more of a face plant into the track. I think they have stuff like this, only with bikes.

Before I saw Obi's video, I was thinking how painful and dangerous it would be not only if he fell off, but if he fell over. Losing his balance while the skates were still well attached would have meant his head and torso hitting against the wodden cross beams over and over again, kind of like what happened to him in '98. Freakin' awesome, though. :D

Until you lean forward and your face is driven into those thick pieces of wood there under the track. Which is very possible given that it's a very shaky woody.

The picture looks like there is a brake on the back of the right skate.

Here's another link, and it shows him riding to different coasters. It's not very long, but it will do.

It looks like the handlebars he's holding might actually act as brakes by pulling back on them. In the video, when he's pulling into the brake run, the handlebars seem further back than originally.
