I was just driving by an old plot of land that had lots of trees growing on it, when a strange sight came before my eyes. I took a picture of it.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0367.jpg
I wonder what this is going to be...
Just get a few comments, and you'll see something actually of the park soon.

:haha: Thanks. But you missed the dumpster, crane, and supply truck.

Thanks, and you'll see something real not this update, but next.
Well, it's been two days, and I came back, looks like a supervisor's there. I got a picture of a bunch of supply trucks.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0368.jpg
I took some more pictures, looks like something is up, you can see workers and a supervisor.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0369.jpg
More of the supply trucks, they must have big plans for whatever this is.

Next update should include some buildings, I'm going to start it right now.

Thanks.
After two days I went to the construction zone, and look what I saw.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0371.jpg
They blocked off the side areas from view! Someone must know I have been looking. But I could still see the most obvious stuff. Like the fact that some walls are finally up. And some walls are still a work in progress.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0372.jpg
I looked over both of the wood piles and I didn't see much, so not much work has been done?

Nice construction so far - I like the lorries.
Why are walls enclosing the car park though? Is it going to be enclosed?

I don't want to give too much away, but think of it as a sort of Main Street...
So it's been three days since I came to the construction zone. And so I was driving by and it was fairly dark, and I noticed there was no one there.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0376.jpg
I thought it was a great chance to sneak in, so I snuck in and got some excellent shots. This one looks like they made rooms, and they've added another floor, as well as flooring for the bottom level.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0377.jpg
Where the people are usually crowded when they aren't working. It does seem almost like a central entrance...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0378.jpg
Just as I was leaving I noticed a night shift coming in, close call, but that must be why it is getting done so quickly.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0379.jpg
I'll try to stop by in a few more days.
To keep the updates coming, keep the comments flowing.

In due time, I can't reveal too much at once, as it is I have like a crew of 200 men working to get this done (or would need that many to get it done this fast in reality). Give me a break. But, the actual park has already begun...

Well the building takes a lot of wood, doesn't any log cabin?
I stopped by the construction zone today, it's been a week since I last went there. I snuck in at twilight just like last time, It looks as if that "second level" will never be, instead it was a roof.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0380.jpg
It looks a little like a strip mall, but an odd one at that.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0381.jpg
But what kind of a strip mall has turn styles, and they're past the mall itself. Weird.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0382.jpg
All the supply trucks have moved back here, for some reason...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0383.jpg
There is a glowing pool just past the entrance area, or what appears to be the entrance area.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0384.jpg
There is also a small playground near the entrance area, odd...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0385.jpg
I climbed up a tree and got a good look at what is in those supply trucks, words can't describe it.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0386.jpg
I wonder what this site is going to be?
A leaf floating in midair?
Also does anyone know why the CSF white set glows in the dark?

Well, I dropped by the construction zone, as it has been two weeks since I last stopped by. I was greeted by an interesting sight. I wonder what's hidden...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0394.jpg
Also, I noticed all that steel was unloaded from the trucks.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0387.jpg
There have been several updates to the entrance square area. There are now bathrooms.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0388.jpg
There are locker areas.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0389.jpg
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0390.jpg
An A.T.M. and pay phone area.

http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0393.jpg
Now I snuck up on the truck covered in the tent, and you'll never guess what I saw! But what is it? Can someone tell me?

Since I like story interaction ... It is a B&M rooller coaster track.
I like the theme you've choosen. I don't know why. I guess you just don't see this type of theming any more.

It's a unique theme, I agree. The track is going to be for a somewhat unique coaster, but wait for this update to see.
It's been two weeks since my last visit to the construction site. It is now safe to call it a theme park, I believe. Just looking at the park's skyline excites me, I've only ever been to one theme park, and only twice. It's giving me the jitters. Just take a look.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0396.jpg
Some of the steel has obviously gone into making that.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0397.jpg
Past the entrance area is a Merry-Go-Round, lit up for the night.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0398.jpg
You can see the crane placed over something. I don't know its name.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0399.jpg
A cement foundation has already been placed under part of the coaster.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0400.jpg
I also caught sight of the coaster's cars before leaving, what an odd case of events.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0401.jpg
The coaster layout is done, I just need two updates for it to get it finished.

Thanks. I will.
I went to visit the park today. Its been only three days since my last trip so not much has gone on. But it's something. Just look at the sky line.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0402.jpg
More steel was used up over the three days.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0403.jpg
Some of the track has been placed down, this is the lift hill.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0404.jpg
The station has been built, and quite good too.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0405.jpg
There appears to be a second lift hill, I wonder what it is for?
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0406.jpg
I climbed one of the lift hills, and this is the station from above.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0407.jpg
Another tent, wonder what's inside this. There wasn't any way to get in as far as I could see...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0408.jpg
Tell me what you think, should the name of this coaster be 'Holly'? I want it named after another tree, I need your input.

Well, this park is themed after woods, so a tree would make sense, or else something else natural...
I went down to the construction site today, I realize it has been two weeks, but I thought it was time. Anyway, I glimpsed some testing being done, because of the number of finished attractions. I ran home and came back with my video camera. Check this out:

I love that ride! Really nice to see your take on the classic Boomerang. :)
Looks like a very good layout too.
I'm not so sure about the colour scheme, if you want to call it a tree though. Maybe Maple, if you make the supports brown?

Thanks. I like the layout too. The supports will change.:D
So I went back to the park today. It's been four weeks since my last trip. But there was a lot of progress. For one thing, there are now covers over different parts of the rides' lines.

One where you just buy your food and go.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0420.jpg
The other is a steak restaurant.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0421.jpg
The roller coaster's supports have all been repainted brown.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0422.jpg
There is a new ride, from what I can see it is a dark ride.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0423.jpg
I tried sneaking in to see the ride, but it has electric doors, which wouldn't open.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0424.jpg
Around the side I found a maintenance entrance, and I snuck in.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0426.jpg
Just on the inside there is nothing but trees.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0429.jpg
Then I saw that it is actually a forest themed dark ride, it weaves through a dark forest.

Looks very interesting.
I like your use of Canopy101 in the first few pictures - but it's a little inconsistent with the gaps.
I like your new buildings - the take-away looks great, and the interior of the restaurant also looks great. Maybe add a Menu to the take-away though?
The dark ride certainly looks interesting. Strange how secure it is. :P Is it actually inside, or outside? I can't really tell.

The constancy has been altered. Take away signs added. The dark ride is completely enclosed. It doesn't need to be secure, there are teams working almost round the clock on the park, why would they think someone could break in...

Well, I would never finish that much of a park in 10 minutes. (going back to first update). Now back to this update, idk its kind of bittersweet. It gives you this amazing event thats going to happen, but all you can see is 4 towers...(although I am curious to see what a few of them are). Well I'll have to wait for the next update I guess.

You can see more, but that update was just a teaser.
I took a trip to the park for the event. The manager said we couldn't have any video cameras, but my camera has video ability so I took some picture and some video. I didn't ride Violation of Nature, it was just a U that went around 28 times until it lost momentum. Here's the video:
h1Z-8ykITOs
If that doesn't work: Link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Z-8ykITOs)
So the park was open! And so were the rides. The park manager announced that this will be a temporary opening for the park, and he said we had to fill a survey out before leaving.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0511.jpg
There was a new attraction, and I got its name, Twin Pines.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0512.jpg
I saw a lot of police officers in the park, but look at all those cop cars, I wonder what the big deal is...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0513.jpg
A crane, so this park still has work to do...
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0514.jpg
Supply trucks, how interesting.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0515.jpg
Well no one at the park recognized me from all my nightly adventures, and the manager said that there may be more of these before the opening, so I will without a doubt keep you posted.
The survey, if you will please fill this out, I would love your feedback.
1. What did you think of the themeing of the park?
2. What did you think of the rides?
3. What was your favorite ride?
4. Do you have any problems with the names of any of the park attractions?
5. Did you find the high level of police members bothersome?
6. Would you like another roller coaster in the park before opening?
7. Do you have any complaints about the food, or restaurants?
8. Would you prefer another thrill ride, kiddie ride, or both?
9. Would the main street having large signs make you more aware of the wares, than just the display windows?
10. Did you have fun?

So I have some bad news, but that can wait for the end.
The park has been highly staffed, and is (as far as I can tell) undergoing practice sessions so they are ready for the park's opening. It meant that I couldn't sneak in, it was all crowded.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0516.jpg
Also, I saw some highly unusual hedges located near the entrance.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0523.jpg
Through the thick trees I began to see a new attraction.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0517.jpg
It appears to be a type of mini-strata coaster.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0518.jpg
Another tower type attraction.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0519.jpg
Call me crazy but, I decided to climb this fence:
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0520.jpg
And climb up this wall:

To give you this great photo:
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0522.jpg
Unfortunately, I thought someone saw me, so I quickly tried to climb back down, and ended up falling off the roof. I'm posting this from the hospital, so I may not be able to take any more pictures until the opening, which is scheduled for soon. Well, that's the bad news, the good news is, I am supposed to get out the day before the park opens, so I should be there for the grand opening.

If you were sent to the hospital, then apparently someone in the park saw you fall off the roof, or saw you on the ground, and therefore would know who you are and what you're doing, so I doutb they'd let you back in opening day. Other than that little gap in the storyline, it's turning out great! But can you please tell me where you got the cop cars and the letter hedges? I need them, thanks!

http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0533.jpg
First I visited the playground, it wasn't half bad.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0534.jpg
There is only one bathroom in the entire park, bad planning on the park designer's half.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0536.jpg
The line for Merry-Go-Round was almost nonexistent, so I decided to ride it.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0537.jpg
But the observation tower was nice and crowded.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0538.jpg
The eating areas were very crowded.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0539.jpg
Even the restaurant.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0540.jpg
The line for maple wasn't too long, but I still liked it.

But twin pines was a lot of fun.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0544.jpg
The line for Launched Free Fall was really long, I couldn't believe it.

If you look hard enough you can see the park's logo.

Violation of Nature was popular too.

Pretty fun as well.

There was a small cafe area, that was quit nice.

I liked Sky Shot as well.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0550.jpg
Blitzkrieg was oaky, but apparently it was left unfinished for this season. They decided to wait for more funds to complete it.

It is themed after a plane which, in order to avoid being destroyed, flew into a large tree, and crashed.

Nice update! I like the support construction of the red coaster. Not too fond of the color though, but I think it just might work. It kinda balences out the wierd colors of the other rides. But, you might wanna use strata supports from Steelworx and a bit of Steel Jungle on Blitzkrieg, those supports look kinda bland. They're just... There. Not exactly realistic, but the rest gets 5* from me.

Thank you. I don't plan to change the color, because it matches the name. (Maple) Blitzkrieg has changed a bit, and is no longer a concern, although some strata coasters are supported like that IRL.
So it's been a few months since I last visited the park. A lot has happened. Blitzkrieg is gone. Some fences have changed around the park (apparently for both safety and security reasons. And, there is some new construction.
Some exciting sign for new construction.

I stopped by the park today. The park has just closed for the winter.:( I can't wait until next summer. Still great shots. Something new...

Thank you, I completely agree, but for financial reasons, it is very small, but it will have an expansion, within a season or two.:D
So, a friend of mine works at the park. He kept getting bothered by my constant questions about the new coaster, and volunteered to take some pictures for me. I gave him my camera and he snapped some photos.

So that friend of mine got so excited about the new ride, thanks to me, he snuck in to look for some concept art. There was a label on the file: White Wash upgrade season 3. And it's not even season 2 yet. The concept art:

Thank you. But after this update you will realise that the concept art and the woodie are one and the same. Oops, said too much.;)
So I came to opening day at Oak Park. It was so exciting. They hurried up and put in a new attraction. A view from the entrance.

It's called 'Lone Oak' and is named after the lone oak in the path.

Only? No. Only existing, yes. There was one (I think) at Cedar Point, but it was removed because it was dangerous.
Sorry if you saw my thread in the CFR/CTR area, but even though I got the CTR working, the piece won't show up because it doesn't think it aligns. Oh well.:(
So I came back to the park mid-season this time. There were some interesting events unfolding, but to that later. I realized I haven't taken many night shots, so here are a few.
Twin pines.

ECOLOGICAL WARNING
Dear Bereth14
I would like to inform you about your excessive use of wood. The amount of wood you use is unprecedented. We have seen many local woods cut down to support your agressive wood construction. The governments local ecological consultant demands you to stop using wood at such an agressive rate or you will get fined for it. Fines up to $750,000 that is. You even built a small wooden roller coaster that has more supports than it actually needs. We recommend that you stop bulding wooden structures for 5 seasons so we can grow back the trees that you destroyed. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Anonymous
BTW you use wood way too much and I dont like the fact that you do. Please change that man! You are ruining the air!

Dear Valuable Park Viewer,
I would like to inform you that, all land which has been built on was legally approved by the United States governments. All building projects have been locally approved as well. The majority of the recently used wood was provided by the forest on the park's property, which the park was legally entitled to cut down, and use as desired. It has been noted that any wooden construction would be far cheaper than the same thing made of metal, so your concerns will not be followed.
Due to your remarks on the extra number of supports on the wooden coaster, they were all deemed necessary, and the majority of other wooden roller coasters usually use even more wood for their supports.
Also, stopping building for five seasons would almost certainly cause such low park popularity it would go bankrupt. The park is currently in the process of converting all energy it uses to a local wind mill, but its energy supplies will be limited until all of the wind turbines are installed.
As for fines, the park is not worried about fines, because a little friend of ours in congress paper-clipped full legal approval for our actions to a motion to give poor children US flags. Still, we understand your ideals, and may well cut back in the future.
Sincerly,
Mr. Bereth XIV
So, I stopped by the park for closing day of this season. The work on White Wash is continuing, but not done, still, some progress has been made.

So, I managed to go to the park for opening day. It was amazing. A quick snapshot of the woodie.
http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/bereth14/Shot0619.jpg
However, there was an additional area added, apparently the park wanted rights to clear this land, but due to funds, they could only afford to put this in.

Not for long. KI has announced the closing. If only they had listened to Stengel... But NNNNOOOOOO, they just HAD to do it THEIR WAY. If only they had listened, it would still be up and running today, in its original form.

So for the last day of this season I decided to stop by. It was so sad. There was no more gazebo! It seems that the money issues the park had are through, and they have already started construction for next season.
They have begun to build something, using even more wood.

I personally think that the coaster layout could use much more. It just felt...boring, really. The first drop and the loop was cool, but after that, it slowed down to almost nothing, and after a few little hills, it was over. The supporting was good though. :D

I'd have to agree.
You see, bereth, while sometimes, your compact, short, and simple designs are pretty good, but then some others - like this one - need to be big, sprawled out, and long. If it's gonna hold a record for something, you might as well add some flare to it. And the surrounding area it's in makes it feel like I'm riding it on a back lot.
Other than that, the rest of the park is turning out to be pretty good. KUTGW! :)

I love White Wash. It might be simple but it's clean and fresh too. The support work is great. The only thing I noticed though is that the brakes following the turnaround right about the loop seem to slow the train down WAY too much to the point where it crawls through that banked turn
The brakes totally killed the ride. Keep them in and you get lots of airtime, making not just 10 seconds of the ride any good. I like the supports, but take out the brakes completely.

I did, and hopefully the speed makes the coaster better.
So I stopped by Oak Park for the opening day of season 4. I first noticed someone mentioning White-Wash, and thought they might expand it even more, but apparently there were many complaints about the ride, so they slightly adjusted the layout, see for yourself.
