Well today I was operating Winky the Whale *this being at palace playland.* When I herd a loud banging noice I turned and instantly stoped the ride cart one fell off its track and went itno the small amout of water. Thankfully no one was injered.
The details, The pin holding the whale to the arm fell off and the cart it self sliped off the pipe that was holding it and wam into the water hitting one empty cart and in the water. Thankfully I responed to the situation well. Saddly I got no pictures right now but if I find something Ill get it.

If this is true, you're sure making your workplace look bad right now...

Accidents happen all the time and it is infact true. Though while I dont bring my cell phone to work, nor can I send pictures. It was a simple accident, while I am unsure how it fell off its little track to begin with all I know it fell off the arm.
Though to be honest Palace can be a bit err bad sometimes. Imho the maintance can be real jerks. I mean it to. >.>;

Sad indeed.
Oh dear...it seems I've spontaneously combusted.
That's why teens shouldn't operate rides! :mad:
Only kidding :p :up:

Good job Kyle. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to take pictures if you had your camera with you anyways, since you'd be better off responding to the emergency situation. The park probably wouldn't be too happy about you spreading images that would make the park look bad, either...
Surely they wouldn't care at all...

Any park that wants business would care.

Naturally, it depends upon the company, but I have known companies that have fired employees for posting negative information about their company on the Internet. If there is negative information that needs to be shared with the public, those companies generally want to have their PR people do it in such a way that they can try to contain the negative publicity. For an amusement park, a significant ride malfunction certainly can be viewed as negative information, especially when it involves a kiddy ride where small children had the potential for being injured.
Palace Playland may not take such an approach, but, then again, they might. In an effort to avoid issues, my recommendation would be to ask the moderators to delete the thread. However, it's your employment, so the choice is certainly yours.

Indeed I know the risk but still at lest No one was hurt it was just an accident. They happen allot. Though I wonder how the little tupe holdng the whale to the ride broke off. Or at lest why would it break off. It doesnt happen with out reason. But I never knew one could be fired for posting somethign on teh net. o.o

I just had the best vision of people seeing it fall off the track and you immediately getting your camera out to snap pics :haha:
