So my dad, my friend and I always go to SF Gadv, for two days but I REALLY wanna go to Hershey as well. We've never been so I think its gonna be great! Now we have everything planned on HOW we would do stuff, but its not confirmed yet. My dad thinks we're gonna be in too much pain, as we are usually in lots of pain after two jersey days. We have rashes between our legs that kill, and our feet kill too! So I have a couple questions on how to prevent pain on a trip like this, as well as Hershey questions
- Could we wear body armor on or legs to prevent 'chub rub'?
- What can we do for sore feet?
- Is there a flash pass system at Hershey?
- How much standing and walking would we do at Hershey?
- What do recommend the ride order be at Hershey?
- Any Hershey tips, or trip tips please feel free to post!
Thanks everyone! My dad says if we figure out how to prevent pain in two days then we'll think about three days next year, but I wanna go this year. Haha. So I figure the more advice the better!

Chub rub?... well.. yeah..
Sore feet? Wear comfy shoes, running shoes are best.. something I ALWAYS wear to parks (being a runner helps too).
No Flash Pass at Hershey
Not A LOT of walking, but a decent amount.. and there are a few hills.
Ride the low capacity rides first, and save the ones which pump trains out last.
My tip? Enjoy Hershey.. because the park is one of my favorites and really is a good park from top to bottom.

Yes, you can wear Under Armour.
Comfy shoes always work. Like Snoo said, running shoes are great.
No, no Flash Pass.
Not too much walking, it's about your typical park size, but there are hills you have to climb to get to the Minetown area of the park.
Depends. Do you plan on experiencing the Boardwalk? If so, that first no doubt about it. If not, Fahrenheit should be your first stop then work your way around Midway America (Lightning Racer, Wildcat and Wild Mouse). Next I'd hit up Pioneer Frontier where Stormrunner and Sidewinder are followed by Trailblazer and then Great Bear. Comet is going to have a long line all day, so just leave it for last. Fahrenheit is a people eating machine believe it or not, by far the fastest dispatching coaster at the park, so you'll be alright if you hit it up first.
My tip? Enjoy what the park has to offer. Howler, the Claw, Whip and even the Tilt-a-Whirl and the Swings are all fun flats you'll enjoy. You might not have a chance for a show, which are all really good, but try and stop to watch my personal favorite, the Milkmen. They perform right by the Monorail on the Midways so you won't need to go into a theatre.
My personal favorite place to eat would be Freeman's BBQ in Pioneer Frontier. Fantastic BBQ food and the atmosphere if you time it right (with the country music show) can be so relaxing. Nathan's is good too, but along with everywhere else could be pricey.
Hershey is my favorite park not named Disney. Great park with a great collection of coasters and decent flats to go along. That's without bringing up the atmosphere is unbeatable.

1- Yes.... I guess...
2- Walking Shoes are mostly what I wear to parks. Also Hershey and SFGAV both do not have a good transport system inside the park so be ready to walk. (Well SFGAV does have the skyride which is good, WHEN its open, its almost always closed due to high wind)
3- No there is not
4- Standing, a lot. Walking not that much, Hershey is a medium sized park.
5- I say Comet or Fehrenheit first because Fehrenheit always has a line and has horrible capacity, Comet because it is the first ride you come to in the park, so it always has a line of 15 minutes or more (It is worth it though)
Then do Great Bear and Sooperdooperlooper, and Coal Cracker if you like water rides. After that take the back way behind near Great Bear to get on Flying Falcons and Trailblazer, Since Storm Runner is right there get on it then and then Sidewinder. After that head up to Tidal Force (Again if you like water rides, the wave on this thing is bigger then any other I have seen!) After that do Wild Mouse, Wildcat and Lightning Racer. Then Roller Soaker.
Hope you have a great trip!
