I had 2 Atari 2600, a bunch of games, and a large variety of controlers get destroyed in a garage fire and was hoping someone knew of a way to approx. the value.

i have the majority of the games listed out, but not the controlers cause most of them were one black melted glob,

I have no clue how to estimate this so any help would be great. I have pics of the games and can post certain ones if it would help. thnx in advance

Moved to the Atari 2600 Forum. I suppose you can look on Ebay and see if anyone is selling these and what they go for.

Ok, that list was impossible to try and read through. Your best bet is either to pick up the Digital Press price guide book (http://www.digitpress.com/dpg_plug_classic.htm), or go through the AtariAge 2600 game database (http://www.atariage.com/software_list.html?SystemID=2600) looking at rarity ratings and price from there. The digital press guide of course has the added advantage of having prices for more than just the Atari 2600 (take a look at the list on the linked page), but the tradeoff is it's static - i.e. those were the prices back when that went to press in 2006 and may not be accurate today.

As far as prices for the AtariAge rarity list:
Anything rated 1-2, is extremely common. Figure in the $1-$2 range.
Anything rated 3-4 figure in the $3-$7 range.
5-6 is around the $9-$20 range.
7 and up is pretty much up to the seller and what they feel it's worth.

As with anything though, it's entirely up to market value. I.E. just because somethign might be rated rarer doesn't mean there's a demand for it and you'll get that price. And the market is not that great right now, lots of competition and low prices on Ebay, etc.
