You don't use countermeasures as such, as long as you have some pods loaded the onboard computer will launch them when required until you've run out. Loading countermeasures is done the same way you would missiles.

There is a manual countermeasures mod about somewhere
try here: http://www.i-war2.com/downloads.htm
under the Particle Systems heading.

Must admit I've never used this so I'm not sure how it works. I'm sure one of the others can shed some light on that though.

Welcome to the forum by the way. Nice to see new people trickle in from time to time.

I seem to remember also that it is possible to load the countermeasures into a normal missile bay and use them manually like you would a missile without needing a mod. Then again, I've never done it myself, as I usually find the manual thrusters combined with liberal use of pitch, yaw and roll (and not to forget, a good joystick) sufficient to avoid most missiles. It could be that the mod mentioned above is what makes it possible to do that and I simply remember it wrong.

but the problem is that it seems 16 ecm decoy loaded into countermeasures part but i take all missiles that enemies shot and in addition to this after wars the number of ecm decoys are not changed

Sounds odd. You shouldn't have a problem figuring out if you've launched a countermeasure anyway. It's sort of like a present day flare, except there's no smoke, only a bright light floating in space. It makes a noise too, so if you're close, you should be able to hear it. Though maybe not over the sounds of battle. It's mainly if one is launched right before battle ends. Then it'll linger for a bit in the silence.
