Yes, it’s here Collinas Del Mediterraneo! After we’ve won the Summer Showdown 2009 we (Gibbs, Luke and me) decided to post this park on the forums because there is much more in this park than you’ve already seen. I’ll be giving you the updates. Most pics are taken by me, but because I can’t open the last file of the park on a reasonable quality I had to ask Sam to take some pics for me. He took some pics of the structures, that he had made. On this pics there isn’t anything of the rest of the park to see. He had build the entrance plaza, the water park area and the plaza around the slammer ride. (You can recognize his pics by the size: his pics are 800x600, mine 800x500 ;))
The reason why we couldn’t post better pics of the park for the voting round for the SS ’09 was that we couldn’t get the file opened. Ranger was so kind to take pics of the park, but he couldn’t take them at a high quality, unfortunately. Plus, he didn’t have one of Ckef’s sets installed, so some buildings looked really strange, we’ve used his sets a lot.
I’d like to thank Sam and Luke for all the input into this huge project and I hope you’ll all enjoy the park! Oh, everything you see here has been build in those 6 weeks of competition, we haven’t added anything after that!)
So, because this is the first post, I’ll begin with the entrance area!

Welcome to the Mediterranean! Welcome to Colinas del Meditteraneo!

Enter through the archways to begin your adventure at Colinas del Mediterraneo.

The sight of this planter is the welcoming view of the park. Hidden within the foliage are four statues of lions and horses.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7190.jpg
A look to the left of the Spanish plaza. On the left is a small Spanish cafe and in the distance the season pass booth can be seen.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7401.jpg
The inside of the Spanish cafe! There is plenty of room to sit, you can even sit up at the bar on the stools and chat with your waiter. ;)
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7403.jpg
This spanish cafe provides a really nice escape from the rush of the park, being so close to the entrance this cafe is usually left quite empty most of the day whilst everyone rushes round to all the rides.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7194.jpg
Another shot of the plaza area. On the left the quaint cafe can be seen, on the right is the food stall and a small fascade between the two. We’ll come to that stall later.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7427.jpg
The exit and spanish cafe caught in the same shot.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7358.jpg
Night sets in over the plaza.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7196.jpg
A look down the left of the plaza, the "gate" out of the plaza towards the slammer area can be seen in the back of the pic.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7347.jpg
Looking back towards the entrance.
The next update I’ll show you some more of this plaza. BTW: I hope I can update this more regularly than my own parks.

I'm still blown away at the amount of detail you guys were able to put into this. My hat is off to you. It was fun competing against you as well! I'll give a full review at a later time. Still, wow! :)

Finally get to see this park in its full glory. Really like the last pic for some reason, idk maybe it has something to due with that sun. I am really looking forward to seeing the darkride I wasn't able to see when I was taking photos. Also the boardwalk, will be cool to see with reflective water.
Edit: I just wondering... how does it run for you, is it a super lag *****, or do you have one of those super computers that can handle anything?

The buildings are all very intricate and detailed, but I'm not too big a fan of the varied architecture styles and designs. Unless the story is something along the lines of a melting pot of cultures or a shipwrecked island with the structures built entirely from the wreckage, it doesn't seem to fit in anyway. Just my thoughts.

Looks pretty good, way better than what I could ever do. One thing I don't like is the castle church looking building, a little too random. Other than that building I like the rest, I'm interested in what type of park this will be. That last photo looks real by the way!

Yeah, it looks awesome! For me it runs just fine, well, the last file that I had sent to Sam (I was on a holiday after that) These pics were made by Sam, these are all his structures. But, the last version, with everything in it, lags awfully, my CPU can't handle it.

Yes, indeed...

Thanks! If you say that I'm afraid you haven't seen much of my projects... I vary my buildings very much. And Sam made this plaza with the idea that it should look like my buildingstyle, so it should look like the boardwalk (which was made by me for the biggest part) Plus: that's Spanish style.
Looks pretty good, way better than what I could ever do. One thing I don't like is the castle church looking building, a little too random. Other than that building I like the rest, I'm interested in what type of park this will be. That last photo looks real by the way!

Update 2: 10-13-09
Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you more of the Spanish area. I’ll show you some pics of the area of the Slammer, but I won’t show you the Slammer itself yet, those pics are for the next update, otherwise there’d be too much pics in this update and I can’t just put some pics out of the update because they are just too beautiful to don’t show them.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7429.jpg
This gate connecting the slammer and plaza area houses telephones!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7431.jpg
Lookng through the archway down the plaza.
Before I go further with more pics I have to say some words about the history of this part of the park. Once upon a time… there was a village in the Mediterranean. (Duh!) The village was well maintained to give the village a pristine look! It was once a place of happiness, full of people... until the snakes came! Lead by the Sonaron (a coaster that I will show you soon (although I’m not able to make pics of it :bulb:)) snake the village was overrun! All of its citizens rush away from the village, shocked by the many snakes! The Sonaron snake claimed the village for itself. Overtime the area became overgrown, leaving the area uninhabited by humans. The Aplastar, which means crush or overwhelm in Spanish, is situated near the park entrance and remains the most intact section of the area with its many towers, most of which remain clean. The rest of the story will be told when I am showing you the coaster etc. (this story was made by Sam)

A look at the exit building of the Slammer ride and surrounding facades.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7204.jpg
This small stall can be found at the entrance to the slammer ride called Apalastar. The theming of the area can be seen towering behind it.

The slammer interior queueline! You can see toppled chairs and tables as people rushed away from their previous home.

More queueline.

This basement like room is the final section of the slammer queueline. The ride operator controls who may enter! ;) The broken table, toppled chairs and broken chest (seen on the left) are a vague continuation of the deserted theme.

Hey! No update today but I just wanted to reply to some of the comments you have all made here! :) But before that I just want to say that it was a lot of fun taking part in this years Summer Showdown and to get to work with FD7 and Luke was just awesome! I really like the park we developed and glad to see we've finally been able to show you more of park that we were unfortunate enough to show you all before! I still don't understand how we won as there was so much missing from our park's submission, but throughout this thread we'll hopefully be able to show some parts of the park that you won't have seen in our submission! :) Believe me, these first lot of updates are just a small section of the park! ;)
I'm still blown away at the amount of detail you guys were able to put into this. My hat is off to you. It was fun competing against you as well! I'll give a full review at a later time. Still, wow! :)
Thanks a lot SVT, it was great to compete against everyone, some fantastic parks from every team this time round! But wheres that full review?! ;)
I'd just like to thank you again Ranger for taking all those pictures for the SS submission! :) As FD7 has said, no-one has yet to see the full park with half decent graphics! ;)
Looks like a great start!
Buildings look good, but I think the entrance is kinda dull compare to other buildings
Thanks, and looking back the entrance is quite dull in comparision, but it was one of the last buildings of the plaza to be complete, and with such a short timeframe you've just got to build what you can, rather than waiting for a better idea to come along. I also would have liked to had a "pre-plaza" area with ticket booths, toilets etc. But there was a lack of space (due to the 90x90 size or whatever the requirements were) as well as a lack of time.
Thanks, this is the only "Spanish" inspired area of the park so I wanted to incorporate as much as possible into the plaza hence the mix of styles, colours etc. I'll link this into angryemobeaver's comment below...
Looks pretty good, way better than what I could ever do. One thing I don't like is the castle church looking building, a little too random. Other than that building I like the rest, I'm interested in what type of park this will be. That last photo looks real by the way!
...The castle building was one of the first buildings included in the plaza area, I'll admit that when looking for inspiration for the Spanish Plaza I had a look at CD5's spanish park and during the first lot of pages everyone was hoping for a castle type structure to the amount of castles in Spain. I took this idea and inplemented it into the plaza to represent the spanish castles, the details in the interior of the castle cafe building hopefully link it to the plaza a bit more.
You were running out of captions wern't you. :haha::haha:
"More morning plaza."
"More plazaness!"
"More sunrise on the plaza!"
"More lions in the plaza!"
:p We/I kind of went overboard on the pictures, after I sent my pictures to FD7 he edited some and sent back around 100 pictures which I then wrote comments for... Hence "More morning plaza", "More plazaness!" as we really just wanted to get this thread up as soon as possible! :p
Great buildings. The picture editing has payed off, when used.
This one we never got the park download, unless i'm mistaken.
Can we expect to get it in this thread?
Thanks Moby, I'd really like to get this park up for download either during the course of the updates or more likely once the updates are complete and see if anyone can get this park running as none of us have been able to get the final version running well on our computers. So hopefully there will be a download once we repackage the park to include a better CS list etc, I think FD7 feels the same way.
Nice work, FD7, I like the way that you'ved intricately combined various CS sets to achieve this area of the park. Keep up the good work!
Thanks CoasterDude! I should probably just explain how the workload was sort of divided out. At the start of the competition our team consisted of myself, FD7 and RCTExtremist, Extremist had lots of problems towards the start of the competition, such as no internet, and had to be dropped without having contributed any work unfortunately. I was still in school and it was quite busy so I found I didn't have much time for anything else. After deciding on a Medditterean theme FD7 began work on a boardwalk and I built the resturant for the first challenge. The majority of the work on the boardwalk (yet to be seen) is done by FD7 with a small contributions from myself. FD7 then designed the family area for the second challenge, whilst I themed the kiddy coaster (which was eventually finished off by FD7 when I hit computer problems). Next was challenge four which was the waterpark, which came out rather poorly in our park it must be said. It was mostly built by myself with supports being done by luke. We unfortunately had to get rid of a vineyards (which FD7 built) to make space for the waterpark, hopefully we'll show you this somewhere, although there are already pictures around! ;) We then built the spanish entrance plaza which was mostly designed by myself (except one building by FD7 which has yet been seen, I'm not sure if there will be pictures of this...) Luke was brought into the team a few weeks before the end when FD7 went on holiday so that I wasn't left to finish the park by myself. We had yet to build the challenge 3 coaster so luke was put in charge of building, supporting and adding foliage for the coaster. I then built the station and a few structures for the coaster. The slammer area and top spin ride were also designed by myself. This was definately a group project which each of us adding our own ideas to each others designs and was an even work spread between myself and FD7, and we couldn't have finished without Luke's help at the end!
Basically what I wanted to say is the majority of what you've seen so far is designed by myself with influence's from FD7 and Luke and you'll soon see the area's with the majority of the work done by FD7, prepare for some good work! ;)
Thanks to everyone who has commented so far and to all the other teams! Feel free to ask any questions you might have and keep watching! =D

Woww this park is absolutely incredible! :D
The amount of detail put into everything, and the remarkable way that everything just fits so perfectly, was what made me vote for this park in the first place. And wow, you haven't disappointed the second time around. :D

Update 4: 10-26-09
Hey everyone! This update will be all about a Top Scan and the queue from the coaster: Sonoran.
The top scan sits near the boardwalk, slightly more overgrown than the Apalastar section.
The Sonaron coaster sits between Apalastar and a Top Scan. It has erupted into a hugely overgrown jungle over the years!
Many snakes live within the jungle, so watch your feet! ;-)
The Sonaron station building has been influenced by the theme resulting in the tiled bricks mimicking the snakes scales, the red eyes of the many snakes!
The exterior of the building is overrun with vines and the interior of the station building is full of overgrown shrubbery, mossy walls and vines to build further upon the theme!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7040.jpg
As a continuation of the coaster theme we (Sam and Luke) decided to build a top scan ride. The ride is called Araña, which translated means Spider. Surrounded by more Mediterranean styled buildings the overgrown foliage is enhabited by the spiders.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7511.jpg
Theming! This overgrown area, complete with skeltons, is situated opposite the entranceway.

Shrubs are growing through the floor here! Boarded up windows, vines growing on the walls outside, mossy walls, overgrown-ness!

Fantastic update guys, sorry I haven't got round to comment on this.
Aaplastar: Frankly that is the best themed S&S Sky Swatter I have seen, I love the location, the compactness definitely adds to the intensity of the ride, a job well done guys!
Top Spin: Another well themed flat ride, though I'm not sure if Health and Safety would allow all those weeds ;) For me theming adds so much to the ride experience and this is something you have really highlighted in your park, it really makes that little bit of difference. Hats off to you guys!
Invert: Judging from the queue this is going to be a masterpiece! The queue is detailed but not too over done so to make it unrealistic. Two little bits of criticism... Those shelves look like they need to be a little thicker, they look rather small for a bag to go on, I'm not sure if that can sorted. Finally I'm not sure about this but on the inverts I have seen the coaster is usually connected to the ceiling so to support its weight, that may be something you may want to add for realism, but its not a biggie.

Incredible. Everything in the previous pages was perfect, I can't believe the amount of detail you guys put in the park with just 6 weeks. The only thing that doesn't look so good is Sonoran (or Sonaron?) entrance, I presume it was because of the lack of time. However the queue is great!
Being I a spanish speaker as I am, I find really funny that you used common words like Araña or A(a)plastar to name your rides. I guess that, to non-spanish speakers they sound really good. :p

Love the compact city look it has to it but some of the buildings have a little too much repetition in my opinion. The colors are very strong and distinct yet it blends in very well with its surroundings. Overall its a 5 star park.

Thanks tigerlemurguy! Health and Safety would have to let us put all those weeds in once they saw the concept art! ;):p The sheves are one piece of CS so we can't really change that and the invert is connected to the ceiling... The supports are just see-through so that they don't ruin the effect of the beams on the ceiling! ;)
Good work on this, it is really a nice looking park. I really like the interior of the Spanish Cafe.
Not sure I have ever seen that scenery used in the sky swat control room before but it looks great the way you combined it with the surrounding buildings.
Thanks a lot! The control room for the sky swat was sort of a last minute thing for that attraction, just thought when it was nearly finished that we might as well make use of the two surrounding buildings so we just put a few control panels in! :p
The Sky Swat is awesome, it doesn't look cramped and in fact more imposing as you'd only see the top slightly over the buildings...

Update 5: 11-03-09
Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you the coaster, Sonoran. There are some pics without the coaster, with only the station on it, those are Sam’s pics. He was unable to have the full coaster on his computer. I’ve been able to make some pics of the coaster. But, those were made at a lower quality (anti-aliasing off, no reflective water etc.) and they show the unfinished coaster (no trees, unfinished queue etc.), because I couldn’t load the last park file, so this is an earlier version. There are also two pics that were made by Ranger, for the actual submission, so those two shots show the whole coaster, as it is in the final version of the park.
So, let’s begin with some exterior pics of the station:
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7498.jpg
A look at the inverted station structure, sorry for the lack of surroundings! :(
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7502.jpg
Enter the station building through the archway! Watch out as you venture through this crumbling overgrown structure! Avoid the snakes! ;-)

Nighttime exterior!

More nighttime exterior!!

The station with its surroundings (pic by Ranger)
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0763.jpg
Before the trains go to the lift hill, they first go through two helixes. This is the second one, here you can almost touch the buildings of the Spanish plaza, of the village.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0765.jpg
After the lift hill, there’s a long, winding way down. The drop hill is like a snake!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0764.jpg
A shot seen from above. This shot shows really well how winding the drop is. After the drop you go through some caves, like a snake. After all, Sonoran’s supposed to BE a snake!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0767.jpg
The snake is winding through the caves. Can you spot the train?

An awesome overbanked turn! (pic by Ranger)

I love this park so much, everything about it is wonderful. I was just thinking though, wouldn't the G's be a little too high on that drop, it seems the curve gets smaller to me, but ah well, looks magnificent anyway. I like the dives under the briges and all the rocks and foliage you have implemented into the ride, gives it a terrain hugging feel:) Just wondering, are you carrying this theme throughout the whole park or just the entrance/first section?

That is seriously like the best invert I've seen. I LOVE that drop, so creative and well put together. Wish I could compliment more, but you know what you did right. Excellent work. Shaping up to be one of the best parks on here. You did a great job with choosing people with varied skills to make such an overall great park.

Loved the coaster, I like how you made the coaster unique by not adding any inversions.

Finally I'm not sure about this but on the inverts I have seen the coaster is usually connected to the ceiling so to support its weight.
It's actually connected to a series of I beam arch chambers that the rest of the station is built around and commonly structualy unconnected to.
But I love the park! It's subtly lovely.

Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you the right side of the Spanish plaza on our way to the pool complex!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot7316.jpg
On the opposite side of the entrance there is a gate. This gate leads to the way to the boardwalk.

The sun begins to rise behind the horse's gate. (sorry about the fences in the opening of the gate, these pics were made by Gibbs and he couldn't load the whole park, only his own structures)

The right side of the Spanish plaza. The left building is a toilet building (that’s the only building in the Spanish section that was made by me) the middle building is the entrance to the pool complex and the right building is a beautiful gift shop. (I’m sorry I forgot to take some more shots of that) (remember that this pic is low quality because it was taken by me)
The next time I’ll show you the pool complex at daylight.

This is the surroundings of the first turn. The atlantis beams hang over the slide and are used to support the rides lighting. Hidden in the foliage a statue can be seen.

Quite a few things to comment on:
-The waterpark is very lush and beautiful; great variety of trees and plants.
-The roller coaster's station and queue are very-well done- I especially like the red eyes
-The coaster's drop seems a tad unrealistic, although that may just be my opinion
-The horses on the entrance archway are a nice touch
Besides all that, the park looks fantastic.

this is amazing! every screen is just art.. is dat a B&M track for that kiddie? never saw that before..
the buidlings are great, but I'm truely amazed by the youse of nature in this park.. It's a huge factor giving that spannish-mediterian feeling.. almost tropic, I really like that!
about the screens: the effects on the screens are great, they really create more depth in the pic's, but maybe you're taking this "dark-effect"a bit too far.. I would really like to see some brighter screens, Isn't spain the country of the son? xD maybe it's just me, but the dark effect makes everything a bit depressing.. I would try some over-lighted screens to reflect the climate of the meditirian regiones..
But this is actually my number 1 park now! I love the theme! keep the good stuff coming!

Thank you very much. Well, yeah, that's kind of a B&M track... But it's actually a CTR and we wanted the coaster to be as small and cramped as possible so we choose for this CTR and not for the in-game track.
Thanks! Well, yeah, Spain is the country of the sun (this park is a Mediterranean park, so it's also Italian). But you gotta protect yourself to the sun, so you have to dim some places of the pic, otherwise it would be too bright ;). To be honest, I'm not really great at pic editing so I don't even wanna try other effects :-p

Update 9: 12-2-09
(Moved update to this page, looks a bit better...) Hello everyone! We’re almost halfway with the updates, update nr. 20 will be the last one. Today I’ll show you the kiddie area and the beach. So from now on, most buildings are made by me, but there are a few made by Sam…
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0652.jpg
Coming from the second water park entrance you’ll pass a small shop (on the left) and then you finally get into the kiddie area.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0576.jpg
Here’s another look on that building.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0566.jpg
Then in the middle of the kiddie area there is a rocking tug, named “Il barca pazzo”, which (should) mean(s): The crazy boat.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0565.jpg
Here’s a shot of Il barca pazzo.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0567.jpg
On the opposite side there’s a small kiddie jumper called: “Il saltatore”, which means The jumper.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0568.jpg
Another shot of Il saltatore.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0564.jpg
Then there’s only one more attraction left in the kiddie area (before I go to the kiddie coaster): Splash battle. The building you see on this pic contains a restaurant. Behind it is the attraction Splash battle.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0561.jpg
It’s actually a game. The goal is to soak the other team!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0562.jpg
I’m sure you’ll get wet in this game!

The splash battle as seen from the restaurant.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0560.jpg
Let’s move on to the beach! There’s one food shack (made by Sam) and a toilet building.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0556.jpg
The food shack from inside.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0779.jpg
Here’s a shot with Sonoran in the background. (note that I had to edit the water to make it reflective)
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0594.jpg
From the beach you can look out over the whole boardwalk. (this is probably the best shot I’ve ever taken)

Thank you very much. Well, yeah I wasn't expecting to be able to make a POV either. When I want to make a POV my game always acts weird and well, then I'm unable to make a decent POV. This time it went well, after about 10 attempts. There's one more POV coming but I had even more problems with that POV than with this one :bulb:

Update 11: 12-13-09
Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you the first bit of the boardwalk!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0771.jpg
So, the path from the entrance plaza to ‘the Gate’, the gate to the boardwalk.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0571.jpg
You end up on a small plaza. To the left is Sonoran. To the right is the kiddie area.

Oooohhh!

Aaaaahhhh!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0612.jpg
The path underneath the building leads to the boardwalk.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0613.jpg
Inside the gate building are toilets. The men’s toilet.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0611.jpg
A pic taken from the boardwalk side of the building. In the background you can see the gate to the Spanish entrance plaza.
I know, this was a small update. But now I can divide the coming updates a bit better.
See ya soon!

The detail you have put in this park is amazing! You even put sinks in the toilets! Beautiful update, I honestly don't know why this park isn't getting comments. Can't wait to see more:D

I always love your buildings, exterior and interior! I love how much detail you put in so it's as realistic as possible (like the bathroom). You've seemed to perfect the art of buildings in RCT3. Great job !

Thanks! Yeah, I saw LR's Lavatory and thought:I must use that set, it adds great details to the park.

Update 12: 12-18-09
Hello everyone! Here are the first four buildings from the boardwalk. After you’ve gone through the Gate you can go to the right.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0609.jpg
These are the first two buildings you see. The left one is just a normal house. The right one houses a ride, a mad house: ‘La casa della follia.’

La casa della follia.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0606.jpg
The next building is a fruit shop.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0607.jpg
It’s called Rodrigo’s frutti.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0608.jpg
As you can see it has two floors.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0604.jpg
Then there’s the next building. It’s just a house.

Very nice. I feel some of the architecture here is not as nice as other parts of the park, but it still looks beautiful! The fruit shop looks really nice. Great job.

which ctr is the shark car plz
It isn't a CTR, it's in game, maybe on the Corkscrew coaster. I think an expansion pack does get rid of it, though. If you go to the Strategies and Tutorials section, look at the sticky thread containing all the tutorials, you'll see one that tells you how to get it back.
This is brilliant, really fantastic!
I love the use of the Shark car, very appropriate and rarely seen!
Everything is so detailed, keep up the great work!

Thanks! Haha, maybe that's because this part of the park was mostly made and thought out by me. I think it's really hard to make Italian buildings look good as normal Italian buildings would look boring: they don't have many details.
which ctr is the shark car plz
It's a CTR track that I've got from somewhere. I can't remember it anymore.

Thank you very much. I stumbled upon it accidently too. I didn't know the game contained the shark car before.

Update 13: 12-29-09
Hey everyone! This is the last update for one of my parks this year. As WS ’09 isn’t asking that much from me this week I’ve found some time to give you another update.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0602.jpg
The next two buildings. The white one on the left is just a normal house
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0600.jpg
And the one on the left is a little café.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0601.jpg
The interior.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0603.jpg
In front of these buildings there’s a little stand where you can buy glasses and some other things you’d normally see on an Italian market.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0599.jpg
Then the last two buildings of left side of the boardwalk, which are just houses.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0597.jpg
A nice final pic to end this update.
See ya soon!

I don't know why this hasn't got comments. Oh well, here's one;) The Italian area looks really nice; if you would have zoomed out a little on the last shot to show the reflection in the water it would have looks ace! Keep up the great work!

Update 14: 01-04-10
Hey everyone! New update today! I’ll show you the first part of the right side of the boardwalk. The part of the boardwalk that you see when you turn right after going through the Gate.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0614.jpg
First building is Fransesco’s Pizzas. (The right building is just a house)
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0615.jpg
They offer you sliced parts of a pizza.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0616.jpg
Next building is the building on the corner.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0617.jpg
It’s a park accessories shop.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0618.jpg
Last and final building I’ll show today is a restaurant.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0619.jpg
Well, actually it’s more a fast food stall, but you can sit outside and order your meal there.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0774.jpg
I couldn’t resist posting this pic that shows the coaster in the background. Notice that I had to make the water reflective with paint.net.
See ya soon!

I did'nt check your park for a while, And I'm suprised by your builing speed!
Again this is amazing..
I will start this coment a few updates back, for I didn''t coment on them yet xD
and that's the 3rd update on this page..
the path between both of the gates is beatifull, I like the difference in height and the "bumpy" look of it. the overvieuw between both of the entrances is great!
about the next update: I really liked the first screen, but the house in the middle is rather un-detaild compered tho the building next of it.. I liked La casa della follia. I really liked how you used the villa-volta cfr! now I see it like this, It really does look Italian!
I have to be honest about the fruit shop.. i don't think the colours fit that well. about the rest of the update: I't looks perfect!
My only advice for the update after is: you should really put some beames beneath that roof on the 4th screen
and finaly, the last one: I really like the pizza shop, but the corner building doesn't look as great as the serouding houses.. I don't really know what it is..
I love what you did with the water, and the whole picture is very pitoresque! everything fit's within the mediterian theme..
This is just my favo park at the moment so, keep it up!

^Thanks! Well, maybe you haven't read it but this is a park that was built for a contest in the summer. It wasn't only me who made it, 03Gibbs and Luke1990 worked on it a lot.
Yes, some buildings may be un-detailed, but that's because normal Italian buildings don't really have much details! About those beams on the 4th pic: Yes, they should have been added. Concerning the corner building: Haha, it was the first ever building in the park, so I was still experimenting with how to make it look Italian. I have added some details later on, but it still isn't very detailed. But, to me it looks like a real Italian building. Thank you very much!
BTW: Why aren't you guys commenting? I notice that I get as much view as I always get. Is there not enough to comment on? Is it all perfect, so that you can't give it critisisim? Just some things that I was wondering...

Update 15: 01-14-10
Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you some more of the boardwalk!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0621.jpg
So, next building. It’s a restaurant. This time you can order your food.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0622.jpg
And, it’s got a terrace!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0623.jpg
The next building is a building on the corner of the street. It’s just a house.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0583.jpg
But, that street goes up! Doesn’t it look beautiful!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0624.jpg
This street contains a restaurant, with some seats outside,
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0626.jpg
The exit of a ride (which is still to be shown) on the right, a house on the left
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0625.jpg
And a small clock store (the purple building)
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0669.jpg
It’s interior.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0627.jpg
The last building of the street is just a house again.
See ya soon!

I don't know why this doesn't get many comments FD7, it's fantastic! Maybe because most good park makers have already seen it in the Summer Showdown, and all the noobs are looking at nooby threads?:haha:
Anyway, I love the shot looking up the alley, very much like a Mediterranean one! Lovely update:)

^Thank you very much! Um... so you consider yourself of none of those two sides of the community? You definately are one of those good park makers!

This will be the last update on Atari because this place is dying, and I'm starting to hate the rules, Phoxe and Atari itself. You can follow the park over at SGW.

Update 16: 01-28-10
Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you the second biggest ride from the park: Jupiter’s Revenge. The story goes like this:
You’re an Italian guy. Just like everyone, you go dreaming. You’ve got a quite extraordinary dream: You are placed in the middle of the ancient Rome. But, then Jupiter gets angry and then all the houses are destroyed: the city has become a ghost town (just like Atari :p). But, luckily it was all just a dream.
I hope to get a POV done soon.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0628.jpg
This is the entrance building to the ride.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0656.jpg
The queue is very detailed: you go through some Italian houses.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0658.jpg
An Italian kitchen.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0659.jpg
Eventually you’ll come out on this turning table.
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0589.jpg
Ah, you’re in the ancient Rome now!!!!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0585.jpg
Just look at all those houses!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0592.jpg
After Jupiter got angry, whole Rome has been destroyed!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0591.jpg
Oh, no! Really everything has been destroyed! Rome has become a ghost town!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0660.jpg
I wanna get outta here!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0678.jpg
Luckily it was all just a dream!
http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p414/FlyingDutchman7/Collinas%20Del%20Mediterraneo/Shot0677.jpg
Um… Why would you keep your hands up? This isn’t a coaster!
Next time I’ll show you the restaurant that was built for challenge nr. 1.
See ya soon!

I'm not a noob, but I don't visit the site every hour of the day, so yeah, I miss parks every now and again and I didn't see the summer show down. I do, or did, like this park very much. I might catch up to this somewhere else, but not sure I've got time to look at 2 websites. Not sure I understand it all, but good luck. I'll miss this one.
