Im working on a new ride and I want it to take place in a show building but IDK what sets are good for that type of stuff. Ive seen pictures of building that have nice walls and roofs. Specifically ones that dont let any light in bc im making a dark ride. Thanks!

This may be stupid but do the nyr concrete walls let light in. Bc its a dark ride I dont want any regular light, just artificial light. If they do... is there a way other than making it night time to make it dark inside?

thats impossible with the limits of the game, you can double line the walls with nyr on the outside and pitchblack walls on the inside, but its still going to be daylight inside the ride...

Yep, and even underground seems a bit lit up during the day. Just one of those things that was never addressed when the game was created. But putting the pitchblack set inside does help quite a bit for the illusion of making total darkness.

One other thing that does help, but not completely again is on your ride type, make the lights from the cars, and track as dark as possible, and then use another light source. It sometimes gives a nice effect.

Anyway, goodluck with your ride.
