How do you Deflect Special Attacks?

I heard you can deflect Beams. How?


I'm still a little disappointed you can't steer beams like in ESF, but whatever, lol.

i've tried it a few times against Raditz' attacks, and all that happens is that I block it like normal.

Then you aren't timing it right, it just takes some practice is all. Try it again, and remember to do right before an attack hits.

Edit: You don't hold a direction, just push in the direction at the right time.

Pretty dissapointing, though. Then again, you can't see what it looks like from the player's (The one who shot the attack) point of view.

But for the person who is deflecting, it's pretty lame, since it doesn't actually get deflected. It just disappears. It's just a block with no damage. Or explosions.

But that's the thing...it's not much of a feature at ALL right now. There's no deflection or anything. Just "poof I made your ultimate attack disappear at no cost to me".


All it would need is for the attack to actually be deflected.

Yeah the new moves are really just "show off" stuff

1.Super Rising: Looks good, but it's nothing new. U had almost the same thing in BT3.

2. Deflecting Beam. Come on, it's useful, since if ure timing is not correct u still have the adventage of blocking the hit (If ure not good at vanishing, this may be handy). BUT.. It looks like S..t!!!

This Deflect move was not properly inserted in the battle action. It looks like a poor patch they did at the last moment.

!!!They could also have done something like "the super killing move" Just press R1 + L1 at the same time when your opponent is making a super attack to kill him instantaneously.

Visual Effect of Super Killing Move:

Cut scene: Total Black screen but you just hear your opponent's voice saying "Oh gosh! he did the super killing move and now I'm dead!".

Still steering is a waste of time in this game using the game mechanics its based upon but stick to your mods we don't need it guy witht he digimon avatar.
