Hello, I was hoping someone could steer me to the Soulbringer English patch? I used to have it years ago, but lost it when my computer's hard drive gave up the ghost due to old age.
I hope someone knows where I might be able to get a copy of the patch so I can play the game again.Edited To Add: Or was there more than one patch? If so, I hope someone knows where I can get them all. I have a computer that will run Soulbringer, already tested that. I just need the patch so it won't glitch in the desert. ![]() Last edited by Zabigail; 11-02-2009 at 11:51 PM. Reason: Adding more |

Thank you to the one who moved this to the proper forum! I did a search for Soulbringer, and the only topic about it was in the Retro forum. For whatever reason, it made sense to me at the time to put my topic there because of that.

Hi, are you sure that there is a patch for this game? The only thing I can find is a "savegame patch" (which is just a cheat, no "update").

Yes, among some of the things it addresses specifically is the glitch that won't allow you to continue the game once you reach the chapter with the desert. Second, let me try to find the more proper name and the chapter. (It's well into the game, quite a frustrating glitch, it means all your progress is lost.) I played through until that point, got hit by the glitch, had to get the patch, start over, and then my computer hard drive crashed...
Ok, so looking here to refresh my memory, it's once you try to leave Oasis for the Deep Desert. The game crashes, and you cannot continue. Here's an old old topic in which someone else mentions the fact that at least one patch for the game exists. (I seem to recall English, and German, and maybe more than one of each language.) |
