Kaiju Gaming Comes to the Nintendo DS

Don't know if this will only be in Japan (I suspect it will due to the monsters seen in it, and would have a license issue), but this is definitely a twist from the usual kaiju games. I think some of you may have said something to this game design idea for a Godzilla game.

Though it looked like someone a little "familiar" appeared around 1:39 in the video.

I see some of you all's favorite monsters in the game, especially Godzilla_2000's King Joe

Though I wonder why or how do they think this is going to work on the DS? The video itself wasn't shown with the 2 screen set-up, but a singular screen display. Oh well...good thing Nintendo increased the size of the DS monitors. (remembering the thread by chris55)

Please don't tell me this is what Tsuburaya meant by "bringing Ultraman to the US..."

As much as I'd like to see some Ultraman stuff come to the US, this just looks like a more modern version of Godzilla 2: War of the Monsters only more understanding as to why...

hmm, it doesnt look so bad in a way, its like watching Monster Hunters but with the FF Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time graphics for DS. maybe they will polish it a bit more perhaps but i would have prefer this game on the Wii instead of the DS thats for sure.

i don't see the problem of his statement, he just say that is Graphically poor pretty straight forward. If you didn't understand that on the first go you really have problems of paying attention or analyzing things.

im not playing the fool, but do you really need to always start insulting people so you can actually look like a retard for just a lousy thing to ask which the trailer pretty much shows it straight forward of its poor graphics, i mean Phantasy Star Zero for the DS or kingdom heart 358/2 are better looking than this. but then again graphics is not everything, you might have the most awesome looking game but its gameplay totally sucks, if the gameplay is good and the story is great im ok with it, if the graphics looks decent enough im cool with it.

It does look like crap but with that new DS coming out, I think in 2011 with the Nvidia chip in it, graphics will improve on future games.

The game looked ok until I saw the polygons. It's a given that the DS isn't a powerhouse graphically. Nintendo's trying to "get back in the game" so to speak with that Nvidia chipped DS and this rumored "Wii-2". If there's no even balance of good graphics and good gameplay, the game is basically a waste of time to me

The cinematic scenes started to pull me in, but when I saw the actual gameplay, it didn't look all that promising. Especially with the Monster Hunter evironments...

yea but lets not forget that there still working on it so perhaps this was a demo of it and possible the final version could look a bit better than this. but is interesting that we are gonna play the role of the humans fighting the ultraman monsters which pretty much they always get ownd by the monsters.

Graphics do not/should not matter on a handheld game. But seeing as how most "gamers" nowadays are graphic *****s who just adore the PS3, its really a losing battle for true gamers.
