going off this idea. They may simply try and do the www(.)thisisspamsite(.)come tactic, but perhaps that's better than them being able to imbed links, it basically labels them as spammer. or they could just be like go to Omegababy.com, and while its not a link it might work, and they coudl change it's color.
but anyway in addition to the 50 posts, perhaps you cold do a certain number of words written as well. Or something that they don't know exactly what the condition they have to meet before they can post links is. Maybe it's like you ahve to write 20k words and 50 posts. or something. Or if you're from india you can't post links until 100 posts. Kinda unfair but may be worth it overall to the community as a whole.
