Expo 3000 Phase Four complete!


The first land from Wonder World is now ready to be downloaded!



Peeps celebrate the re-opening of Expo 3000.




To run Expo 3000, you'll need the Soaked and Wild! expansion packs for RCT3.

You'll also need the following community made scenery packs.

Be sure to have all the latest updates of these packs. The older versions
may not run with Wild! If you don't have all the packs, the park will still
open, but the pieces you don't have will be missing.



Installation...

Place the Expo 3000.dat file in My Documents\RCT3\Parks.
Place the music files(.mpg, .wma, .wav) in My Documents\My Music\RCT3.
Place the .jpg files in My Documents\My Pictures.

This park is HEAVELY themed and may cause serious lag on your computer.
This is mostly due to the War of the Worlds attraction. I recommend keeping
settings set fairly low and keeping the game in pause mode at first before
you open the gates and let the peeps in. The game may crash on low-end
systems.

I have added several side entrances to help disperse the peeps throughout
the park. Without these, the peeps all flock to the Space Port and hardly
venture to the other areas of the park.

I hope you enjoy the park and be sure to let me know of mistakes in the park,
or any problems you may have, besides the ones listed above.

This park is sooo good, Im downloaded all the custom scenery packs you used in it then im downloading the park.

EDIT: I changed my mind im not going to download every single pack because it would be over 200mb and my cpu is is running out of memory. These are the packs I've downloaded so far.

No, it won't. You'll especially need the Dark Ride packs, or WotW will look like crap. You're only missing about 4 from the group, and that's only about 8 megs more. I don't think those packs come to 200 megs. It's no more than 50-60 megs.

OK, my favorite part is the tiniest little detail, but it suddenly became a real thing for me when I went into the WOTW queue and heard Morgan Freeman's VO from the movie. SO. AWESOME. That's EXACLTY how it would be. So good.

What an amazing thing you have created..........I'm glad you're releasing this thing in chunks, as at 15mb, it certainly does cause lag....even on my machine. Great work....now....hurry up and release Main Street part 3...

It says projecteurs is 50 megs plus your park is 50megs. Ill download everything, then If the performance of my computer is still smooth then I will keep all the stuff. Its only got an 80 gig hard drive and 60 gigs left. I have over 1 gig of firework files and parks and music files in rct and well over a gig of movie files for my movies.

I have a 200 dollar computer with a high perfomance Nvidia Geforce and a predator 5.1 theater sound card . Im lucky if i can get 3 fps.

EDIT: I finally downloaded all the scenery and im downloading the park file. Yesterday It said it would of taken an hour and today its 20 mins. Whats up with that lol!

Yeah............It crashes. I guess that means I have a low end CPU. Does that mean if i put the graphics settings on incredably low settings that it will work? I have everything on full lol.

Great park shyguy, I love every bit of it and can't wait for Circus center. I quickly made this film for the hell of it, as it's such a nice looking park. Its not very good quality because the download's not worth it. But it picks out some really nice parts of the park. Unfortunately I just remembered that I didn't put 'Expo 3000' in it. Please excuse that.

Shyguy I have a question. Towards the back of the park, it seems very incomplete and strange. It has random terrain paint in sort of like patterns, and a lot of the terraforming is very weird. Is this just a problem with me?

That’s where the circus themed area was, but as he is re-doing that, he removed it from the park.

Well I got round to playing it, and I was shocked, not only by how good it is, but that I could run it on high specs with a decent frame rate. My laptop isn’t even made gaming, but yet it handles out, awesome.

If you can update Expo 3000 this much, can’t wait to see further updates and new lands.

I had a feeling it was a different part of the park, but couldn't shyguy have cleaned it up a little first though. It just seems very messy and doesn't look too greta while viewing the park.

Rub it in.... Im thinking about installing RCT3 and soaked and wild on the cpu (this one can handle). Then watch ill put everything on this comp and it wont run lol.
