[Vegeta's Soul]

Last time on Dragonball GT, after a long hard fight Goku finally destroyed Omega Shenron and returned the Dragonballs to normal, but due to the over usage of the Dragonballs Shenron left the planet taking Goku with him. Will the Earth and her people ever be the same with out their savior? Find out today in the newest chapter to the Dragonball series!

Chapter 1:
After Goku and the Dragonballs left the planet, Vegeta decided to go train out in space until they returned. Vegeta had Bulma build him a space ship and before he left he promised to return once his training was complete. One day while Vegeta was out training he came up with a brilliant idea. He thought that there had to be more Saiyans around. He thought that it was kind of hard to believe that all of the Saiyans were on planet Vegeta when Freeza destroyed it. So as Vegeta trained he traveled all around the universe in search of any remaining Saiyans. A few years later he had a small army and decided to try and rebuild the Saiyan Empire. Vegeta was trying to find a good planet where they could live when he remembered that the old planet Vegeta was right outside of Earths orbit. When Vegeta finally returned he claimed the planet for the Saiyans and closed it off to the outside. The only people that were aloud to visit the new planet Vegeta were Vegetas family and friends. 400 years have passed and the Saiyan race has grown tremendously. Vegeta is now known as the greatest king of Saiyans and has a huge memorial built over his grave, which happens to be in the Royal Palace. The current king of planet Vegeta is weak. Most of the people don’t like him but since he hasn’t done anything really all that bad they decide to deal with him. One day, the people of Earth sent a messenger to the planet Vegeta. The messenger gave the Saiyan king a message saying that the Earths greatest hero has returned and is interested in visiting Vegeta’s grave. “What is your hero’s name?” asked the king.

“His name is Goku, but he wanted me to tell you that Vegeta knew him as Kakarot.”
“Hmm... You said he knew a man named Vegeta?” asked the confused king.
“Yes that is what he said.” replied the messenger.
“Ok I will let him visit but only he can come and no one else.”

As the messenger started to leave the king motioned one of the guards by the door to come closer and the guard immediately ran to his side.
“Yes your highness?”
“I want you to go and get Akagi for me.” said the king.
“Right away sir.” The guard then ran over to the com system and said something in to it. A few minutes later a young Saiyan boy who looked like he was about 15 years old came through the door. “You wanted to see me sir?” asked Akagi.
“Yes, the earth’s greatest hero has returned and wants to visit us. I want you to wait at the landing pad for him and when he arrives bring him here.” said the king.
“Yes sir! ...Uh what is his name?”
“Oh yes, his name is Goku. He should be here within the hour, you are dismissed” said the king.

Akagi left as soon as he was done talking and headed straight for the landing pad. Once he got there he didn’t have very wait long. “Ok he should be here any second now; I have already waited for 30 minutes.” said Akagi impatiently. A couple minutes later he heard an announcement telling everybody to clear the landing zone. Akagi looked up into the sky and saw something shinning. As it got closer he could tell it was a ship. A few moments after the ship had landed it started to make hissing noises and the doors opened up. A tall man wearing an orange uniform with a blue shirt underneath, and had a messy looking hair style walked out. When Akagi saw him he wondered if he was this Goku the king wanted to see. “Is your name Goku?” Akagi asked.
“Yes it is, who are you?”
“My name is Akagi; I am here to escort you to see the king, follow me.”
“Ok then.” said Goku.

Nice. You know I somehow knew that it would be a GT fic. Though I hate GT your fic is not bad at all. But what I wanna know is how come Goku lived for so long? Everyone keeps assuming that. Well anyways, not bad at all.

Since he was with shenron i didnt think he would die and I didnt like gt that much either but this way i dont have to try and make it fit in with the real story as much as i would if it was dbz.

Oh. Well, if I ever make my GT fic, I'll make sure that it's an entirely different story. No black star dragon balls, no super 17, no shadow dragons, NOTHING!! I already know how the first few chapters are gonna go but I'm staying with my DBZ fic. So many chapters and battles....

Pretty much the only thing I keept the same was ss4, even though it wasnt a real super saiyan transformation.

How wasn't it real? I just found it messed up. Red fur?! Jesus! I expected more blonde spiky hair and different colored eyes. Not black hair, red fur and eyes that make them look like they haven't had sleep in weeks...

It isnt real because the requirements for ss4 are that you have to know who you are in the ape form and your body has to be tough enough to handle the power. you dont need those requirments for a normal super saiyan transformation.

That's what I like about DBZ SS tranformations. Sudden surge of anger (Goku when Krillin died, Vegeta when he thought he was too weak to achieve that state, Gohan when 16 died...) or sudden sadness (Future Trunks when he found Gohan dead) or unknown reason (Trunks and Goten).

Contrast to GT
Goku just looked at the moon, big whoop, and Vegeta had Bulma blast him with rays, wow. and no one else did anything new. They could've at least have Trunks and Goten become Gotenks but they didn't even do that.

For Future Trunks it was more like he was mad Gohan went alone, and that the Androids killed him. And wouldn't what happened with Trunks be in the same category as Frieza killing Krillin?

For Goten and Trunks I think it's easier for them because their parents had achieved Super Saiyan before having them. That happens in the GT movie, I think it's, A Hero's Legacy? I'm not sure, anyway, that's what I think.

That's good to know.
Funny thing is that my parents think I should be a lawyer and artist on the count that I always testify about things I don't like and always have good and supportive points. I watch plenty of Law and Order and CSI to know what a lawyer goes through. So I'm sticking with artist.

And what you said about Future Trunks' transformation, he was upset as well so that'd count as sadness.

Krillin dying counts as sadness on Goku's part, too. But it's mostly because of rage that a Saiyan become Super Saiyan.

Actually in a special chapter in volume 33(DBZ 17), Trunks was already SSJ before Gohan was killed. I guess a special with an already SSJ trunks wouldn't have been as interesting?

Oh yeah, I have that one. But I think it was better when Trunks went SS after he found Gohan dead. Don't know why, I just do.

Narrorator: Whats this?, Many years have passed since the Z Fighters Passed away, but a new adventure Unfolds, WELCOME TO DRAGONBALL THE NEW LEGENDS!

Dragon, Dragon, Rock Dragon, Dragonball Z(Repeat this about 5 times)



The tourny started, first up was Takuy, Vs Guad,
"Remember the rules everyone" said the announcer, First up, TAKUY VS GUAD!"

Takuy came into the ring and said "This won't be a challenge"

Guad came in and said "I'll crush you puny human!"

Guad was a dinosaur, and he was big and mucsular.
Let the fight begin!

Chapter 2
One the way back Akagi explained to Goku how things worked on the Planet Vegeta. He also told him about the king and how he was weak and didn’t deserve to be king. Goku listened quietly and when Akagi was done talking he said “Wow, is your king really that bad?”
“Yes” said Akagi “Things would be a lot different if it we had a better king. If we had another king like the great Vegeta, we would probably be the most powerful race in the universe like the saiyans of the old Planet Vegeta once were.” Just as he finished talking they arrived at the throne room. “Here we are.” said Akagi. He opened the big doors and they both walked in. “Wow... this place is HUGE!” said Goku in amazement. “So you must be Goku, am I right?” said the king.
“Yea, that’s me; so where is Vegeta’s grave?” said Goku anxiously.
“Well come to that in just a minute but first I wanted to ask you some questions... oh and Akagi go wait outside”.
Akagi let out a sigh, said “ok...” and walked out the door. “What kind of questions do you wanna ask me?” said Goku.
“First, I wanted to ask if you were a Saiyan.” said the king.
“Yea I am.” replied Goku.
“Then why were you on Earth, Saiyans are not permitted to go to Earth unless I say otherwise.”
Goku walked closer and said “I was living on Earth before that law was passed, didn’t the messenger tell you that I knew Vegeta?”
The king let out a small laugh and replied “Yes he did, but can you prove that you knew the great King Vegeta?”
“Well I guess I could tell you some stories about me and Vegeta.” said Goku.
“all right then lets hear some.” Said the king

So Goku began to tell about all the adventures he and Vegeta went through and it took quite a long time to finish. By the time he did finish the story the king was starting to get annoyed. “That very long story still proves nothing, I need some evidence, or you will be punished severely.”
“You don’t believe my story?” said Goku.
“Of course not, did you expect me to believe that you are over 400 years old? That’s why I said you need proof.”
Goku said “Umm... will this prove it?” as he pulled out the Dragonballs and showed them to the king. “Are those real?” said the king.
“Of course they are.” said Goku “In fact I could give you a demonstration, I already have an idea of what I wanna wish for.”
“If you can prove that they work then I will believe your ridiculous stories.” said the king

Goku put the glowing Dragonballs on the floor and said “Arise Shenron!” Suddenly every thing became dark and the dragon came shooting out of the dragonballs. At that moment Akagi and the guards came rushing in to see what was going on. “What the hell is THAT!!!” shouted Akagi. The two guards stood there speechless. “What is your first wish?” boomed the dragon.
“Shenron, I want you to bring the Saiyan known as the great King Vegeta back to life!” said Goku.
“Are you sure you know what your doing?” said the dragon.
“yea, im sure.” said Goku.

Shenron’s eyes flashed red and the great King was suddenly standing next to them in the throne room.
