Icon1 Paramount Movie Studios

ATTENTION, There is a new amusement park in construction around the Kings Mills area of Ohio. I'm coasterfreak044 A.K.A the weasel, leaking this confidentional info to you guys straight from the source. This is what the president of the paramount parks had to say:

Quote:
After the paramount parks were sold to Cedar Fair, and completly changed identitys, we decided to keep the kings island park and create a resort simalar to Universal Florida.
the first changes were renaming the existing rides at kings island to be non-movie oriented. I just so happen to have the first pics of the park. three rides have already been built:

The parking lot may seem small, but theres a whole complex on the other side

Park entrance

The Paramount Moutain is the park staple and centerpeice.

Top Gun The Jet Coaster is the parks most thrilling attraction. it gives you a hands on dogfighting expirience

Top Guns station and queue are located inside a hangar

The upper lot is full of cool movie memorabilia

Italian Job Stunt Track's Entrance

Italian job was moved from kings island and extended with new track

Without a Paddle's entrance

Without a Paddle's layout

the park will grow to have three areas, the upper lot has the most exciting rides, the back lot features the tram tour and other smaller rides, last the nick universe will be moved directly from Kings Island.

hopefully this park will be better than my last, and sorry for the lack of buildings, i cant build for crap! please comment and give advice!

Not bad, its not as good as I expected. Dude you need more detail then that. For one, where are the trees at? I should take your organization to court for tree abusement. ANyway you should concintrate on one area at a time, cause some of the rides don't look complete. No offence but this needs some work. Plus ill be looking foward to futher expansion. But for example of good themeing check out Yournamehere's parks, and for studio check out my latest park for some theme examples! But if your concerned about lag, I can understand, we all hate lag.

ya i know theres a lack of themeing, but i like to do the rides first, to make sure i have room to theme. also lag is an issue, my computer is pretty janky, even with the new memory upgrde. i'll take a look at Yournamehere's parks, it always helps to see a successful park!

Alright, i looked at some 5 star parks, and got some good building tips. Here's a few buildings i put together for Paramount Blvd. (Main Street) :

Better or Worse?

if they look blocky, it's because in the building designer half of the peices were missing.
p.s. sorry for the double post

Nice start , remeber to include large movie set buildings and a backlot tour and being paramount you can include shrek and nickelodeon as , dreamworks is actully a part of paramount chain and owned by spilberg , at the moment they are sorta on loan to universal under contract including nickelodeon, but you'll find paramount parks include spongebob rides. You probly already knew that , but others have now learnt a new piece of info for more information please search nickeloedon , dreamworks , paramount on wikipedia.

its good but a few things you need
more scenery. (custom scenery, scenery objects, tress. etc etc)
use marmentars rocks there much more realistic
the without a paddle ride is a good track layout but it looks at bit boring. like gullivers kingdom
apart from that its ok. is this your first park btw?

ya i know it needs more scenery, but im planning on doing that last, to cope with lag (also i need to find room for rides first!) as for the ride, it may seem boring, but the actual drop is backwards, i thought maybe it would be more exciteing that way.

anyways, i decided to start the backlot part, to take a break before tackaling the big ride im planning (hint hint) here's what i got...

tram tour layout.

camp crystal lake set complete with jason voorhees

The final stunt, were your put right into the action

an overveiw of the new section

remeber that this is not finished, there's alot of work still, comments are always welcome!
